GONE - The Complete Series: Part One, Part Two & Part Three (Love Always Wins Book 6) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 2,244 ratings

The New York Times bestselling series available in one bundle.

The first part of GONE, a three-part series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Deborah Bladon.

Sending a half-naked picture to a stranger she met online, seems innocent and fun to Lilly Randall. After spending the past four years working towards an honors degree, she needs a distraction and flirting with a man she doesn't know can't hurt, right? Clive Parker is the one man who holds all of Lilly's dreams in the palm of his hand. He's the CEO of one of the world's largest technology firms. When her picture ends up in his pocket, her future will never be the same again. She wants him to see her potential. He questions her motives. Neither can deny the unexpected attraction that exists between them. When Clive's doubts begin to push them apart, Lilly is forced to face the reality that nothing in life is guaranteed and in the blink of an eye, everything you value can be gone.

GONE - Part Two

Lilly Randall had finally landed the job of her dreams. She couldn't have imagined that when she started working for Clive Parker at Corteck, that she'd end up in his bed. Just as she was moving towards a bright future, the man she was falling hard for made a choice that would change their connection forever. Desperate to get her life back on track, Lilly sets out on a new path towards fulfillment. Convinced that she can build a life without Clive, she makes decisions that will have far reaching consequences. He wants her to understand his motivations. She wants him to accept their reality. When things finally make sense to them both, the past appears and everything they've worked so hard to attain is stolen away in an instant.

GONE - Part Three

Lilly Randall had overcome a past filled with heartache and loss. She'd moved to Manhattan and was building a new and exciting life for herself. She was falling hard and fast for Clive Parker and now that she had a dream job, everything was exactly as it should be. When her past showed up to taunt her, the reality she thought she knew was suddenly stripped away. It's hard for Lilly to know who to trust when the one and only person who promised to protect her, can't give her the simple answers she needs. Believing in Clive may be impossible and when the choice comes down to investing in him or herself, Lilly makes the only choice she can.

I loved this story. This is about Clive Parker, who owns a prestigious technology company and Lilly who is an up and coming app creator. Her pursuit of him for an interview and her one mistake is the beginning of a love story that kept me reading page after page. Lilly's "take no prisoners" attitude after the horror of what she went through, was written extremely well. I liked the fact that the author wrote Lilly as a character who wanted to take charge of her life but yet was willing to give life and Clive another chance at happiness. I highly recommend this book. Deborah Bladon is a superb writer and can bring out the best of her characters. You will not be disappointed.

I love Deborah Bladon Books! I am running behind on them, and I need to catch up! Clive was a different character from what Ms. Bladon has wrote before, and I loved it! The reason I chose 4 out of 5 stars was mainly because I felt like this series didn't have as much of a shock factor at her cliff hangers as she normally has. The series is well written, has HOT sex as always, and gave you what you wanted. Their were a couple other things about this book that I loved that made it different than the norm, however, I always write spoiler free reviews; so know that this series is worth checking out, and you will love every minute of it!

Excellent characters and storyline. The pace is good and the dialogue is even and flowing without being cheesy . Having all three books available at once made the reading that much more enjoyable. I got to the H-E-A and sighed! There were a few typos and some editing would have cleaned these upper, happy reading.

Another great series by Deborah. And I also love the fact that she works the characters from her other series into this story but still this series stand alone like the others ones and the main characters still remain the center focal point. I am dying for Clive but so wish Lily was a real person because i would love to be friends with her. I find that her to be the strongest female Deborah has written.

The segue between scenes in this book felt more clipped and unfulfilling. The sex scenes were great, as always in Bladen's books with the first "encounter" in the office being really naughty and filled with tension. The characters were a bit less believable and developed than in some of the other books. Hard to believe that some of the times Lilly felt violated she still turned her body over to this man. Not enough there for the reader to believe he could be trusted until the next scene where things were explained. Preferred Ben and Kayla's story for example. Honestly, the pattern is a bit old an unbelievable too. Always, a 21-22 year old girl who is miraculously wise and ready for marriage within a year to a man a decade older than herself. She suddenly becomes a woman in two months.?? Let's not forget pregnant within a year and usually 6 months round during the wedding. Totally realistic. The attempt to connect soo many other characters in other books was trying to hard as well. Also, weird personal pet peeve--so sick of everyone wearing Navy blue all the time. Ugh. Ugly and boring for sexy people. Why?

This was a good story with a small twist. If this wasn't a series of 3 in a boxed set I am not sure if I would have purchased the second and third books. I don't care if there are punctuation errors in a novel, but I get very distracts by spelling errors and there were more than a few throughout this series. I enjoyed the series and there were some pretty steamy scenes and like I said before a small twist. This series did speak a lot about the importance of trust in a relationship...how important it is, how quickly it is destroyed, and how long it takes to rebuild.

I've loved reading works by Deborah Bladon. This series was an added star in her bonnet. Great story line with awesome steamy scenes. This series could use better editing as there were missing words and misspelled words, words that spellcheck wouldn't find as they were real words just misspelled for the scene. It wasn't enough to detract from the storyline for me. I'd like another, please.

Deborah Bladon is one of my all time favourite romance authors and this book was a prime example of why she's my fav. I absolutely loved this book. The characters are realistic and entertaining. Clive was an interesting read. I literally fell in love with him and Lily was beyond amazing. The book was funny and exhilarating. There was drama and suspense. Clive and Lily misunderstand each other constantly. They don't say what they need to say. There are secrets and hidden plotlines in the way that only Bladon ever seems to be able to write.

The book moved quickly and I was finished it within hours. This was one of Bladon's most emotional stories. We think that the books that matter the most are the books that give us something; joy, hope, love... but in reality I think the books that matter the most are the ones that cost us something, the one's that hurt. This book cut me and hurt me. It cost me to love these characters.
