    Jax and Ivy are WOW TOGETHER!!! They are actually one of my favorite couple! They are passionate and they fight for what they want! Ivy was cheated on with her ex-finance and best friend! That's horrible I didn't even see that coming!!! Then Ivy finds out their were countless of women Mark slept with while Ivy was with him. It's absolutely disgusting!!!! Poor Ivy went went through an EMOTIONAL ROLLER COSTER RIDE IN THIS SERIES!!! Especially with Jax he had so many secrets it could have torn them in two!!! I also love that Nathan is introduced in this book and we see how he was prior to the book Pulse. I actually read Pulse first, so it was great to finally know a little something about Nate I didn't know about. And Mrs. Adams is great in this book I want to read about her life next!

    I'm writing this review for the series:

    A: Because I hate cliffhangers, and I read all of the individual books at once to avoid the anxiety of waiting to see what would happen.

    B: Because you have to read the whole series. The story is the series, and you won't get it if you read only one book.

    After explaining myself, I'll say it's great to be able to buy serialized books in one volume. Yes, there are multiple cliffhangers, but you don't have to wait weeks to find out what happens. You just have to keep turning the pages. It's like DVR'ing your favorite season of a TV show so you can watch it all the way through. Or like waiting to watch a series on Netflixx, so you can binge-watch in one weekend (we all do it - don't pretend like you don't!).

    The concept of the story was interesting, although you have to be willing to suspend your disbelief for some of the plot twists. That's why I love romance novels though - It's a story, hopefully a good one, but I don't read novels or go to movies to see something utterly believable. I want to be entertained and I want a good story.

    One major issue I had was with Ivy. Her fiancée betrayed her, yet she was willing to be financially dependent on him months later, long after they were no longer together.

    Ivy is supposed to be an incredibly talented jewelry designer, yet she isn't able to support herself, thus taking money from the ex. I didn't like the way her character remained downtrodden and lacking in self-respect.

    After saying all that, though, I will say this story is hot. The people are hot, the sex is hot, and it does end with a happily ever after. Read it when you have a weekend free to get through the whole thing.

    If you don't like explicit sex scenes, this series is not for you.

As each story unfolds more is revealed...they have an emotional pull to one another. There are people in their lives that try to destroy what they have by lies & betrayal...can they get past it to realize their dream of a life together??? Love is a powerful emotion !!!
    Recommended reading. Hope to see these characters again !!!

    I started with Ruin 1 and love, loved it and about died waiting for part 2 to come out ... now I'm dying for part 3. In the meantime, I read Vain, all of them, and then to get my "Bladon fix" I got this one. I DO plan to buy and read every single word Ms. Bladon writes. I've read a lot of really poorly written books by Indie authors and her writing is a breath of fresh air compared to far too many others. I do find some typos here and there, so another once over would be good.

    I can tell this set comes earlier on as there are more typos than usual but that didn't detract from Bladon's ability to tell a story. I do think as the story progressed, she repeated herself a little too much. Ivy seems to get stuck on a hamster wheel running the same dilemma over and over in her thoughts--I wanted to slap her. (I always tend to want to slap the female protag though, so no biggie)

    I ultimately didn't really like Ivy in the end when it becomes obvious Jax and Ivy really have nothing in common, holding them to each other except sex. True love needs a little more than that. A woman as wonderful and put together as Ivy wouldn't put up with a man like Jax for so long no matter how good looking and "big" he is. Maybe in the beginning, but as we watch her journey, she becomes weaker and less intelligent as time goes by, not stronger, even though in some ways, she is growing, but then she isn't. It is a little unbelievable for me. I also have a slight issue in not just this one, but all erotica in that the characters only think of using a condom to protect druing intercourse. You can get the same STD's orally. It isn't only about pregnancy.

And if was wonderful to get the whole series in one book and not to left hanging at the end of three books. I hate that! I have one small criticism and that is that the book could have been a bit better proofread and spellchecker only picks up misspellings. But, all in all I highly recommend this book and I will be reading more of Deborah Baldon's books.

    This was the very first book I read by Deborah Bladon and it was the book that led to me reading every book she’s ever written. Obsessed was absolutely brilliant. Ivy Marlow is young and independent. She’s a jewellery designer and she’s engaged to the supposed love of her life. But it all falls through when the engagement is broken off. She’s devastated by his betrayal but then she meets Jax Walker and her world is literally turned upside down. She can’t resist him; literally. He’s hot – like sooo hot. He’s powerful and relentless.
    But Jax is also keeping secrets, secrets that threaten to destroy them. Problem is it’s not just Jax that’s got secrets. There are secrets in Ivy’s past that even she doesn’t know about. Jax is ridiculously intense and hot. I mean he actually says “your pleasure was all mine,” and I was sat there wishing he was saying it to me instead of Ivy. Soz Ivy... As much as I like you, I’d fight you for Jax any day. Bladon might actually be the queen of the cliff hanger, so be prepared for heart break at some point but I promise she always pulls the happy ending out of her hat in the end.
    The title Obsessed is so promising and this book doesn’t fail to deliver. This is the book that opens up a whole world of characters that Bladon has created for your enjoyment. Jax’s obsessions collided with one another in this awesome saga of love, betrayal and perhaps most importantly obsession.
