Pulse - Part Four (The Pulse Series Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 2,333 ratings

From New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author, Deborah Bladon.

PULSE - Part Four

Jessica Roth thought she'd found the one man who could fulfill her in every way. He was gorgeous, controlling, amazing in bed and said everything that she desperately wanted to hear. That was, until she heard him say the one thing she never suspected was true. Nathan Moore says he has his reasons for doing the things that break her heart. She knows that she can't continue to live in a world where nothing makes sense. As Jessica weaves her way through a maze of lies, half-truths and coincidences, she begins to see everyone in her world for who they really are. Old friends become the enemy, new friends become allies and the one man she can't be close to, becomes the only person who can give her what she really needs. They promised each other there would be no complications. It's a promise neither of them can keep.

New York Times bestselling author, Deborah Bladon, has never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She's a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you can often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan is definitely her second home.

At the end of Pulse 3 I thought Nathan was a pretty skeezy guy, he'd lied or rather omitted certain things from Jessica all a long but thank goodness he redeems himself (at least in my eyes) in this final page in their love affair (really?) At least maybe in Jessica's POV!
There's hot sex, some grovelling, some pleading, and lots of answers, which I won't divulge and ruin it for you!
I loved the story from #1 to 4 and I don't regret waiting I. between and most of all it didn't take another 10 or more instalments to get to the end!
If you are already reading Pulse you won't want to miss this, if you aren't sure this is for you...yeah it is! there are only 4 novellas and the story doesn't take forever to get to the point and it moves pretty fast. Like I said the sex is HAWT y'all and the relationships get tangled but you never get lost or confused and you won't go broke buying the instalments.
Buy it I Really loved the story! below is my star and hotness rating cause like 5/5 is NOT enough for this story! 😄
    🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟x a gazillion
    🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥x a gazillion - yeah it's that hot! 😜❤️❤️

“F*** ing her is my sweet heaven on earth.”

These novellas should be read in order:
    Part 1: Pulse I
    Part 2: Pulse II
    Part 3: Pulse III
    Part 4: Pulse IV

In Pulse, part 1-3 small-town girl Jessica Roth, Jess had a one-night stand with enigmatic attorney, Nathan Moore, Nate only to become Ms. Wednesday night. But that was quickly complicated by conflicting emotions, lies, secret and deceit.

Pulse, part 4 picks up after part 3’s infuriating ending. Nate once again has a lot of explaining to do and their rocky, strictly-sex-relationship is put through the wringers. Trust Nathan to resort to mind-blowing sex to open up lines of communication….

    JESSICA ROTH, Jess, Jessie: 23 years/Former paramedic/Aspiring chef/Blond hair/Blue eyes.
Five words to describe Jessica Roth, Jess: Indecisive, conflicted, weak, annoying and needy.

    NATHAN MOORE, Nate: 30 (31) years/Attorney/$$$$/Black hair/Light blue eyes.

Six words to describe Nathan Moore, Enigmatic, complex, secretive, distant, demanding and commanding.

Pulse, part 4 leaves Nate and Jess in a good place, but epilogue hints to a storm brewing. Looks like there might be one more book…

Roller-coaster fuck-fest! Addictive plot and cliffys! Love the book covers!

....this one is only .99 each, and the story is a good one. Yes, it is a bit dramatic at times, but the author writes well enough to engage me with her characters, and that's a big must for me to enjoy a book. This storyline includes a lot of push and pull, and I have to say I was satisfied spending the hour or so reading it. Looking forward to the next one. Hope it isn't too long in coming!

I read all 4 books in one sitting....it could have been 5 stars, but I took off two because I agree with other readers...it felt "dropped" off in the 4th book and also because Jessica, the entire 4 books was about her finding ways to have a reason to end things, be done, not trust...and I get why she is that way but there is just no other dialogue with her. Sex and the reason why she she needs to end it or confront him about cheating or lying or "be done" is her ONLY dialogue in this entire series. At least Nathan progresses somewhat in this book. The ending was too quick, no real development or growth in their relationship...it is let me explain about the suite, let me explain about the cell phone, let me explain about the bet....good now that you understand let's get married. But, the one thing I also felt put out with is when he sounded like he was "gloating" to Drew about her hot little body. If he was that disgusted with Drew and he already stated that after the bet he told Drew to F/O and get lost...then why was he sitting there saying what he said and sounding the way he said it...I HAVE to be on Jessica's side for that. I get why the author added that, for the suspense but it wasn't a good idea. It made Nathan not only look really REALLY bad, but it just didn't make any sense for him to say those things. But although this storry felt quick, dropped, and lacked progression maybe there will be more of their advancement or progression in Nathan's story. I hope so. But aside from that I was still entertained enough to want to keep reading and enough to read it all at once (stories are really short).

Another great read from this talented writer. The whole series has a geat storyline with just enough heat added to make it a thoroughly enjoyable read! I've been reading a lot of this particular genre since 50 shades came on the scene, but I leave very few reviews because there's either a non-existent storyline or too much heat or both, then again some are just really out there. Not the case with this series, which is definitely one of the better ones. I also love the book covers, with each one unveiling a little bit more of the personality of the Nathan we both love and hate! Thanks Deborah, for writing this wonderful series.

    Her books are outstanding.
Stories are incredible, love how they all entwine somewhat. Characters pop up and you see them link through the books.

The main leads always resonate well, Deborah spends time making sure you feel like you know them!

I will buy every one of her books, every time.
