    RISE Part Two continues the story of Tess and Landon, an event planner and airline pilot, who met on a plane flying from Milan to New York City. Landon is 9 years older than Tess and prior to meeting Tess his approach to women had been "one and done". Landon is fascinated with Tess's maturity for her age while introducing Tess to the hottest sex she has ever had. What makes RISE so enjoyable is that characters from the author's other series are part of this series as well. Ivy is Tess's cousin and Lilly is Tess's closest friend. Landon's father who died in a boating accident 10 years earlier rises from the dead. Frederick staged his "drowning" to avoid exposure of his terrible misdeeds. The end of Part Two Has a shocking twist which may break Tess's heart. I can only hope that I don't have to wait too long for Part Three!! Excellent quick read!!

    What I love about Deborah's books is that once I start reading one I get so into the storyline that I don't even notice the percentage at the bottom of my Kindle telling me how much of the book I have read. Because of that, I am genuinely surprised when I get to the ending cliffhanger. Deborah's writing is far superior than many of the other indie authors I have read. And her cliffhangers kill me every time! With every book of hers that I read I say that she has hit the best cliffhanger of all time but she always get better the next time! Rise Part Two has by far exceeded my expectations of cliffhangers and I can't wait for part three it come out!

    I usually throughly enjoy Deborah's books but this one just didn't quite do it for me. I think part of the reason it didn't it because I read part one so long ago I forgot what had happened. It took me a while to get into the book and then it sort of started to lag a little. I found myself skipping over mundane information and any part that had to do with Lilly Parker (is it just me or is Lilly a lot more annoying than she was in her book?). The only redeeming part of the book was the very end and its most likely the reason I will buy that last book in the series.

    Just when you think you know who the villain is in the story, your in for a shock. I love how close Tess is to he father it's a special relationship . Landon on the other can't relate to Tess's love of family , his family life was terrible after his Dads "accident". They both need each other for different reasons and its such a powerful connection. I can't wait for the finale.

    I just don't think it gets any better. The cliffhanger of a Deborah Bladon book leave you needing more and crazy as hell all at the same time. I have to say for me personally without giving anything away this has been one of the most intense series I have read and I am loving it. Another on in the can!!
