Thanks for checking out my Amazon landing page. Please click FOLLOW to keep up with my prolific launch schedule. I can’t do this without a whole bunch of amazing readers.
Scott Moon is the co-author of the bestselling Homeworld Lost, The Last Reaper, Terran Strike Marines, and Darklanding series. His solo works include Blue Sun Armada, Invasion Day, the Chronicles of Kin Roland, and more. As a lifelong fan of reading and a chronic daydreamer, he has retired from twenty-six years of public service to make his own schedule, indulge his imagination, and pursue a variety of hobbies. He’s an 80s kid who survived to (relative) maturity and it shows.
You can join his Facebook Group, The Scott Moon Base, or learn more than you ever wanted to about his writing process at Scott’s Science Fiction Substack.
Craig is a million-selling author of science fiction (post-apocalyptic, military sci-fi, and space opera), thrillers, and non-fiction.
Craig retired from the Marine Corps after a long career in the military intelligence community, having worked with most of the U.S. Government's three-letter agencies. After a short stint with physical security, Craig went to law school, graduated summa cum laude, and went into business consulting. From intelligence, to the inner workings of company board rooms, to on-the-ground leadership, Craig has seen it firsthand.
His books are an extension of his experience, putting the trials and tribulations of a fast-paced world into your hands. Whether in Science Fiction, Thrillers, Fantasy, or even his Non-Fiction, you'll find consistent themes of justice and doing right by those who are counting on their leaders. Leadership is a service, not a crown to lord over others.
No matter where Craig went, he always had a book with him. Thanks to 21st Century technology, He now has thousands of books at his fingertips and with him wherever he goes. How many books would he have read on deployments had he not had to carry a physical book?
No one is encumbered like that now. Craig loves the works of Robert Heinlein, Anne McCaffrey, Andre Norton, JRR Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, and so many more. He has been compared to Andre Norton and that is humbling - she was an incredible author with a huge list of novels to her credit. With every new book, Craig aspires to live up to those that you, the readers, have compared him to.
Through a bizarre series of events, Craig ended up in Fairbanks, Alaska. He never expected to retire to a place where golf courses are only open for four months out of the year. But that's the way it is. It is off the beaten path. He and his wife get to watch the northern lights from their driveway. Their dog has lots of room to run, just until temperatures reach fifty below zero. They have from three and a half hours of daylight in the winter to twenty-four hours in the summer.
It’s all part of the give and take of life. If they didn’t have those extremes, then everyone would live in the sub-arctic.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2024Strange doings in Darklanding have Sheriff Fry chasing down a terrorist, ferreting out the murderer of an Unglok citizen of the old town, and running a survey of the planet only to find another colony of Unglok on the other side of the planet, situated right where the military is planning to set up a training base for a new ultra commando unit. He's got his work cut out for him, no one's talking and clues are thin. It seems the 'morgue' has a few extra bodies and no documentation to be found from the former sheriff. Business as usual, Fry and Deputy Mast do their best to get to the bottom of the mess and sort out the clues from the red herrings. The story grows on you, I start reading thinking just a chapter or two before bed and the next thing I know it's 5 am and the sun is coming up. It's quirky but compelling in it's own way.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2023I was first introduced to this author at a comicon and since then have quite enjoyed his books. Darklanding in particular is one of my favorite series. It reads almost like a western but in space. Small town lawman in the middle of absolutely nowhere.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2021What if space exploration turned into just everyday business where the bottom line is profitable rape of resources of undeveloped worlds.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2019I'll start with the negative. I'm ready for the rest of the series but it's not finished yet. Super ugh!
Now for the 5 stars. A well written story that is so fleshed out you find yourself watching the movie in your head with no commercials. Great fun with everything included, murder mystery, aliens (that would be us), romance, saloons, and a sheriff. Love it and panting for more.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2019Awesome adventure with old friends who grow and mature on each page. I look forward to the next book to see what happens next. I keep waiting for something surprisingly weird to develop with the getting fatter, constantly farting pig/dog. I read on with high expectations of being well entertained.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2021good characters and action, the sherif is very interesting ,nice job turning a war vet into a police officer.he has a good sense of honor which keeps him in trouble which makes the story more interesting.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2020Read through all 6 books as the story never stopped, screaming for #7. The story is a fast paced western space opera at Warp 6..., Thank you.
