    This dark romance series through me for a loop. I wanted to hate Ethan but I couldn't. I binged this series and at the end I was tearful. Can't wait to read the next series to find out about Conner. Felicity brought me in the dark and I loved it. :)

    Starting the book with the ending was a smart move. This series was not easy to read. There were times when the desire to find out how they came to that ending was all that kept me reading. The final book was disappointing. They have lived together for 20 years, raising their sons, starting a successful business. When Ethan's darkness returned instead of talking to Lily, he embraced the darkness. And still, Lily chose to take the final step with the only man she had ever loved, the only man who had loved her.

    I previously purchased and now own all three of these books. I decided to repost my reviews for each one:

    FLAWED
    This book...wow, it really threw me, not what I expected at all. This was such a unique and well-written story! Flawed is a prequel to the Dark Necessities trilogy of Taken, Tamed and Entwined, written by Felicity Brandon, one of my favorite authors. Her books never disappoint.

    This is the story of Ethan and Lily, and it is quite a dark story. Be prepared. I like dark romances and this one was right up my alley. I don’t want to give too many details (read the blurb for those) as I had little when I started the book, and that’s what made reading it such a pleasure. Ethan, one of the darkest anti-heroes I’ve encountered in quite a while, enters into the innocent and protected life of Lily. Both are passionately drawn to each other.

    There are aspects to Ethan and Lily that are quite surprising, dark, frightening, mysterious and intriguing. Since I knew little of the plot before I read this, the story unfolded in a truly marvelous fashion. I actually lost track of the passage of time while I read it, that’s how deeply it drew me in. And there’s another one coming as it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. I can wait. Stories like these are worth waiting for. Highly recommended.

    Wow, just wow, I think to myself as I shut the book and immediately start this review. Felicity Brandon never, ever disappoints me when I pick up one of her stories, and in this second installment of this trilogy (Flawed is part one), she took me by the hand and led me down the proverbial rabbit hole into a domain of dark love, and I mean really dark love, but love It truly is. This is what this author does so well. How is it I can recognize love within this type of bizarre scenario? Because she’s really good at combining opposites: love-hate, resentment-desire, confusion and certainty. I love her ability to create complex relationships, encompassing both light and darkness.

    Ethan, a very scary, sexy guy. Lily, seemingly innocent but, huh, kinda into the extremes of things. An odd but perfect coupling, I think.

    Murder, mayhem, angst, sensuality, love, psychism, all bundled together in a truly delicious story. Now, I’ve got to wait for the final book to come out so it can knock me senseless too. I can’t wait...

    FORBIDDEN
    I’ve quite literally been in awe of this trilogy, and the third and final installment struck me hardcore. As I said about the previous book - wow, just wow. Felicity Brandon is one of my favorite authors, among a few authors I admire greatly for their incredible writing abilities. Ms. Brandon has never disappointed me, and I can’t tell you how many times she’s made me gasp, laugh, cry and shout out loud. She is one of those authors who deserves the accolades for excellence. She is consistently amazing.

    The story of Ethan and Lily concludes in this third book of the series (Flawed and Fallen being the first two books). The book will take you by the hand and lead you into the lives of these two deeply flawed lovers. It’s quite a ride, let me tell you. Murder, mayhem, a deep and abiding love along with a dash of psychism all lead to a conclusion that was so perfect that it left me breathless. Jeez, Felicity, you couldn’t have made a better choice on how to end this series. I tip my hat to you. Highly recommended, as usual.

    FLAWED WOW!!! This was amazingly well written and sucks you right into the crazy of Ethan Reilly an intense predator with amazing powers like I have never read before and he is one to fear and he has his sights on Lily who is much younger and very easily the connection alone is intense and what he introduces her to starting in dreams which was fascinating then in the now she is introduced to a whole new world of HOT!!!! Im not sure yet what to think of either one of them and that makes for a great story with the different personalities, all I know is I love it and Im craving more needing to know.

    FALLEN WOW what an intense twisted story where there is very little light or even hope only darkness every where you turn and no way out, Ethan is one aggressive powerful and very overwhelming master and so clever and he is becoming down right scary in his control of Lily his light and she is so sweet and wants to do the right thing obey or not to obey and be punished. I was glad to see her try her hardest to stand up for herself but the attraction of love and hate is very strong as we see these two move on to a more complicated relationship with Ethan holding the reigns. The character development is very strong and just pops off the page not knowing what Ethans going to do next or if Lily will run again and face the wrath. I cannot wait to find out.

    FORBIDDEN cant believe what I just read Outstanding is putting it mildly theres no words good enough to explain the emotions and intensity of these characters you want to hate everything and love them all at the same time because this is Ethan and Lily and they are so unique and beautiful characters and this is how they love, Im not sure if I hate Ethan or not but I was used to his ways it was who he was and I excepted that, his love for Lily and her devotion and forgiveness made her such a strong woman to deal with it all, she was so committed but it is so so intense every single moment. I loved seeing Connor and Dalton past and present and their thoughts. Hold on tight because there story is anything but normal and I loved it.

    The story is Different and hard to read at times that describes a narcissistic man and and a. Naive young woman Who falls under his spell. The story takes several different Avenues of suspense mystery and fear. The author has been able to make sure the reader can feel all the emotions of the main characters.

    I loved this story. It was gripping from beginning to end. What I do love about Felicity Brandon is her writing skills showing a dual point of view. You can really get into the characters heads.
    Loved the contrast of dark & light in its own twisted love story.
