    This feel good story brings Shirley and Chuck together after very destructive relationships. I adore Shirley for her gentle, loving treatment of her grandfather. The way she consciously made sure he kept his self respect. Chuck is a gem of a man who didn't let his hateful ex destroy his character. These two are just sweet and loving together. Loving this collection!!

    Short sweet story. Shirley moves back to her hometown of Swillville to take care of her Gramps. She has to convince him that it was really her idea to come home to get away from her ex boyfriend. She's working for her friend at their horse ranch when Chuck gets her attention in the barn. He's there to pick out a horse for his nephew. There is an instant attraction between Shirley and Chuck but there is some drama with his ex-wife. It was a cute story but nothing to write home about. No mention of his Dad Bod and that's suppose to part of this series.

    I've given this two very generous stars. I highly considered giving it one but I guess I was feeling nice.

    This is the second book in this series I've read about "Dad Bods" that didn't have a dad bod in site. Hey, I'm not picky, you don't have to say the phrase "Dad Bod" just describe it for me. Nope, this author doesn't even give a description of the heroes body. I DO know that he dyes his hair brown though so thanks for that author.

    I swear it's like this was a bad, reject story that she had already written and just tossed it into this series to get some extra readers.

    Besides the fact that it has nothing to do with this series the story was stupid. They had two five minute conversations over 24 hours and then had sex in a feed store where his ex-wife just happens to pop up and then walk away. After that, he goes out blindly, buys both her and her best friend buildings, and then tells her he loves her. I mean, I'm all for instalove but this was ridiculous. They had zero spark and it was just unbelievable.

    Give this one a wide berth.

    This was a good book. The characters were realistic and relatable to an extent. The storyline flows smoothly. I just don't understand where the entire dad bod came into this book. He wasn't a dad and doesn't become one in this book.
