    Maggie meets the perfect man at the coffee shop even telling her best friend, but she doesn’t know how to contact him again and lets it go.
    Lucas wants to see the woman again from the coffee shop but what would he do he doesn’t do relationships. When Lucas’s world gets turned upside down he rings his friend for help, he never expected the woman that his friend would get to help him with the baby he was suddenly told was his would be the woman from the coffee shop.
    Lucas promises his friend that he won’t touch her but each day it’s getting harder and harder. Maggie knows that he feels what she does but he keeps his emotions locked down tight.
    When Lucas finds that Maggie is going on a date on her night off, he feels things he’s never felt before, with some advice from his sister he decides to get the girl, knowing that he has to tell her about the past and why he is the way he is.

    I'm a fan of surprise baby and single dad, less the age gap but it worked for Lucas Shaw and Maggie Talbot in this book. There's a lot packed into this book with all those tropes plus there's a bunch more going on with a broken billionaire with a secret in his past. The best part, the very best part was the coffee shop meet cute with Maggie's mile a minute mouth and Lucas' cool guy so long. I like Maggie very much, this Alabama girl has some spunk and a mouth to match calling him out on all his mess. I already laughed at her hysterical advice to her bestie Tessa in the first book in this series Bossy Nights.

    Perfect timing and fate put this pair in each other's path. Lucas is complicated guy but nobody is beyond help. Maggie taps her psychology and observes and asked just the right questions. It's slow burn of sorts that is funny in itself. Unraveling Lucas from his past is the key to this story freeing him up to be able to love, everyone.

    This story builds within the world of the first book, but stands completely on its own. Reading Bossy Nights will enhance the story but is completely not necessary. Morris delivers a delightful story with lots of layers and a wonderful HEA.

    Lucas has some old demons he can't forgive himself for. Something that has been hidden for two decades. He doesn't allow himself to get close to females as he feels he is undeserving of their love, so he just has brief hook ups that only allow a quick release. In flies this spitfire of a woman, Maggie, who turns his world upside down and then helps right it. Loved these two together.

His story is heartbreaking and Liv writes it that way. Maggie is a breath of fresh air; a woman who sees good where most people wouldn’t. And Liv writes her ADD perfectly. There are lots of funny parts; Lots of endearing parts; And of course, hot sex. I don’t want to say too much because it would give the story away. I couldn’t put this book down. Definitely recommend this book.

    The usual enjoyable trope but even considering I am one of the least Politically Correct people out there, I was taken aback over the heroine's description of the hero's NYC penthouse: "Big enough that a 747 could land in it". Considering that 9/11 was the seminal terrorist event for the United States and thousands of people died, the penthouse description was in very poor taste.
