    Another good quick read from Parkerson. Cormac and Finn are very sweet together, and I enjoyed their story. My biggest complaint was that there were a few scenes that seemed out of sync with others, like they were out of order maybe.

    This is a really sweet book withoutbeing boring.The plot is pretty simple but it does flow nicely. Plus the author does a nice job of making you feel the bond between the main characters. It's a short read, so could make a nice lunch break.

    An M/M romance in this dark, bad boys series... assassins and crime lords galore.
    Finn and Cormac had been a team for seven years, where they appeared to be a couple, but no sex, as they lived together, and existed only for each other.
    Finn, with a shaved head is strong, lethal and devoted to his "sunshine" Cormac.
    Cormac has long blonde hair, in silky waves and light green eyes. He has had dark trauma in his life, but has never talked about it.
    Most of the chosen "family" has issues, and they enjoy every minute of their lives. We get deep thoughts and tough men.
    Cormac was to escort Rian's husband, Kylian that day, and later Finn and Cormac go out to dinner.
    Then... POP POP POP ! Days later, waking up in the hospital, each asks about the other... They are two halves of a whole, and now they felt it soul deep, and intend to move forward, and admit their true feelings.
    The healing took longer for Finn, as we see them together, the back stories are revealed, showing us how these two men have survived. With the present circumstances, the admissions make their heart's soar.
    Our hot men finally have hot sexy times, uninhibited, scorching times.
    Later we have a different assassin's job and rescue, giving us more detail of what they do for their heart and soul's peace.
    Then a ring and more with our Finn and Cormac.
    This is well written, exciting, gripping and meaningful.
    ENJOY !

    I read this out of order, but it is suggested to read them in order, and I'll definitely get started reading them all. Triggers are listed at the end of the book, you may want to see. Dark topics.

    Author Charity Parkerson continues her series – DAMAGED DEVILS - ‘dark romance stories with crime lords, assassins, and sociopaths who find their hearts,’ and takes a chance with her devoted following by creating stories a bit darker that her usual romances. It works well! HIS OBSESSON is book 10 and Charity’s ability to visually portray her excellent characters is obvious as the story opens: ‘Cormac’s silky, long blonde hair trailed down his back in waves, ending between his shoulder blades. Finn stared at it, fighting his urge to touch it… There wasn’t another soul on this planet as wanted. As desired. As loved. He was a sickness…’ In those few words the steam of this well-scribed novel is suggested and the mood continues through to the final page – interrupted only be a fascinating storyline.

    Charity Parkerson continues to impress, and while the subject matter is stygian in places, the book shows her polish for erotica. She has succeeded in creating another fine MM romance series.

    This was lovely. Finn and Cormac have been in love with each other for years. A tragic happening finally forces both of them to say the unspoken words between them. That’s not to say it’s an easy road for them, but it’s definitely worth it in the end.

    This was a nice addition to the series and these two guys are swoon-worthy.
