    Quake and Rory’s story starts here.
    They meet at The Pole Barn were Rory performes as ’Magenta’.
    So much happends in this ’prequel’, more than usual. The way Quake feel for Rory. Kidnapping, and how Rory handled it afterwards… So many things you want to know. What?Why?
    It was hard to put it down.

    Quake is a gargoyle shifter whose mission is to protect both humans and shifters. Rory (or Magenta which is her name as a performer) spends a night with Quake and that's when they start to have feelings for each other. Quake's mission to protect is on steroids when it concerns Magenta. He and his brother gargoyles find and save Magenta from the evil jackal shifters. Quake learns just how strong Magenta is and wants her for his own. This is pretty much where this story ends so on to the next in the series to find out what happens next with Rory and Quake.
