    This is the second book in this series. This Luke and Julie’s book. They have been dancing around each other for a long time. However, he is back for good now. Julie can’t help how she feels about Luke but she lets her fears control her. Julie is a divorce attorney with high profile clients. Julie needs Luke’s help when things with a client take a turn. She finds that things are much darker than she realized. Luke will do whatever it takes to protect Julie and make her see that they can work. The more the uncover the worse things get. Julie is going to have to decide what she really wants and if she is going to let what others when through affect what she does. Will Luke be able to protect Julie? I loved this book. It has romance, spice, action, and more. I can’t wait to read about the last brother. There are great characters in this book. I was hooked from the start. Wonderful job Lisa.

    The saga of the Walkers Boys continues. Luke Walker former SEAL is one of three brothers
    who own Walker Security Company in Manhattan. Tall, hard and utterly handsome any
    woman would melt in his arms. While at Chicago airport for business he runs into
    Julie Harrison, Julie and Luke have a history. They had a hot and sexy affair when he was still a SEAL
    and parted when his leave was over. Julie a divorce attorney and best friend with his
    brother's fiancée Lauren and are both traveling back to New York for the wedding.
    A snowstorm cancels the flight and both are forced to stay overnight at a local hotel.
    Hot gazes, quick breathes and tingles that shoot through the both of them make them realize
    they still have strong sexual feelings for each other.
    At dinner Julie shares some information with Luke about one of her cases and
    Luke sensing danger vows to keep her safe.
    What follow is murder, suspense, intrigue and a really good story!
    I like a story that can leave you guessing who the villain is and at the
    same time deliver a steamy and loving pair of characters.

    This is the 2nd book in the Tall, Dark and Deadly series but Lisa Renee Jones. The series is about the three Walker brothers and the women they love. Book one was Royce and Lauren's book and book two is Luke and Julie which will leave Blake for book three. In book one you get a intro into all the brothers. They are all tall, capable and sexy as hell. They have the kind of relationship you wish you could have with your siblings. Family loyalty to each other. In this book Luke had a relationship of sorts with Julie before. A month long affair while he was still a Navy seal. When they parted ways he felt there was something more there but wasn't sure Julie felt the same. Now they find themselves together again when they are both trying to catch a flight home for Royce and Lauren's wedding ( Lauren is Julie's best friend). Seems like they end up stranded by a snow storm at the same hotel. Julie has a problem though. At the hotel she feels like she's being watched. The threat follows her home. It seems the judge she is representing in a divorce might be up to no good and his soon to be ex comes to see her to warn her and next thing you know the wife is dead. Supposedly committed suicide but she's cremated and buried before if can be investigated. Now someone is after Julie because they thinks she knows something. Luke's protective instincts kick in and in turn heats up the vibes between the two. Lots of action, mystery, great sex scenes and figuring out who exactly is the bad guy. I loved the dialog between the brothers and between Luke and Julie and although throughout the book Julie is kind of dragging feet she really catches up fast at the end.     I loved this story! Dangerous Secrets is full of passion and adventure with a some mystery thrown in. This is the second book in the Tall, Dark, and Deadly series. I have not read the first book and didn't feel I had to, and there are no spoilers from the first book. This story kept my attention the whole time I was reading it, I did not want to put this book down and I will be reading the first story.

    Luke Walker has come home after retiring from the military service as a Navy SEAL. He and his two brothers have created Walker Security Investigations.

    Julie Harrison is an attorney in a law firm who has managed to mainly handle divorce cases for the richer client. Due to personal experiences she does not believe in lasting love.

    Julie has avoided Luke for the last six months after their no-strings affair that ended when Luke's leave was up and he returned to the Navy. But now her best friend is marrying Luke's brother and she will have to spend time around him. Though they've been apart all this time, they still have feelings for one another and over time Luke realizes he only wants Julie.

    After the wife of a client is found dead, Julie and Luke are given an item that will help prove that the wife's death was not a suicide. There is just one problem, the information given to them can ruin a lot of high powered people. These people know who has it, and are willing to do anything to get their hands on it. Even kill?

    Can Luke protect Julie while trying to find the identity of the people who are after them? Will he get Julie to admit that she has stronger feelings for him before it's too late? You will have to get your own copy and find out....

    This is the 2nd of the 'Tall, Dark & Deadly' series by Ms Jones I have read and it's just as good as the 1st- Hot Secrets.

    The characters are indepth, interesting and compelling. The story is well told and has a good mix of suspense, realism and romance.

    I look forward to the others in the series with impatience!

    Ms Jones is now on my 'automatic buy' list-get this book!
