    I enjoyed reading this story. It hit on a lot of feels, some not so good, and the knowledge of love. I enjoyed the description of the creepy junior pastor, reminded me of a few Ive had the displeasure of meeting. Love is worth everything, and you can’t choose who you love, you can only choose what you do about it. This story did remind me of Saint, but was still a good read. Loved the epilogues. So perfect for their story.

    Dani Wyatt penned the seventh installment in the Heartlands MC series. In it, she chronicles the romantic journey of Kristina and Wrath. Wrath is the club’s chaplain. Kristina is a pastor’s daughter. The church is across the street from the Ride or Die. Once Wrath sees her, he is a goner. It is love at first sight. Kristina and Wrath fit the opposite attract theory much to the chagrin of the pastor. He wants her to marry the junior pastor. Something is off between the pastor and his assistant who seems to be demanding that Kristina marry him. Kristina is uncomfortable around the junior pastor. Will Destiny help Kristina and Wrath to come together? Will the strangling hold the junior pastor wields over the pastor come to light? You must read this book to find out.
    Ms. Wyatt does a remarkable job with this romantic suspense. I enjoy that she too incorporates a dual plot line. One being the romantic journey of Kristina and Wrath. The other being the struggle between the pastor and his associate. I enjoy Ms. Wyatt’s remarkable skill of creating diverse and appealing characters, both primary and secondary. Her lead characters fit the opposites attract theory. Readers will enjoy the chemistry between them. This book is well written with outstanding dialog and descriptive scenes that lends credibility to this romance. I enjoyed her use of a dual POV allowing readers to become better acquainted with two lovebirds.

    But they do in this book. Wraith is the most unique chaplain you’ll ever meet. Kristina is the seemingly perfect, innocent preacher’s daughter. An MC brother and a preacher’s kid? Exciting stuff. The storyline between these two is really good. You have to wonder how Wraith is going to convince a sweet girl like Kristina to be with him. Let’s just say, don’t bet against Wraith. On a related note, Wraith’s inner dialogue is highly entertaining.

    I took a star away because I was confused by the continuity of the first six books into this one. Slight spoiler here...in the previous books it becomes know that the MC has gone straight. In this story, a deal goes down that definitely can’t be construed as straight. It almost seemed like this book was meant to be earlier in the series. I don’t really care about the actions of the MC so much as the the break from the story line.

    I feel as though the situation with her father was not addressed. Sure they spoke about hike coming out and coming to terms with it. But he was harming his daughter in order to protect himself. That is no way justifiable, yet it seemed everyone just forgot about it like it never happened.
