About the author

Ever since I was a little kid I used to fly around my backyard pretending I was a Jedi Warrior or Federation Captain. When I say fly I mean run around pretending I was in a space ship.
Me and my friends used to take wooden rulers and paint and draw elaborate controls on them and these were our joysticks. We had X-wing fighters and USS star ships and we would spend hours exploring alien worlds and getting into dog fights. The good guys always won.
When I got a bit older I started to absorb everything I could about vampires, going through my own goth and vampire stage. I loved how cool they were and how they were sort of like super beings or demi-gods.
Not even werewolves could outfox vampires. These mysterious blood suckers were lurking around every dark corner of night, just waiting to pounce on unsuspecting victims.
And so now I write both science fiction and vampire horror stories because I still can't control my active imagination. I hope you enjoy my humble offerings. You can reach me at sylyntstorme at gmail dot com.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2013Not sure how many pages I managed to swallow before giving up since Kindle doesn't count pages like paper, but I appear to be nearly 20% into the book and I just can't take it any more. First, there are too many cliches and inconsistencies. Those are followed by scientific innacuracies. Space ships will not be "burning and smoking" in space. I've wasted enough time with this book. It's time to move on to something better.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2013Action with more action. This read moves quick. A lot of future ideas but no development. You need to have a good background reading other books of the same type but a good story.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2017Space operas cane be fun. Some of them have complex plots, developed characters and great writings. Others not so much. This is one of the not so much examples
- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2018You have to apply a bit of willing disbelief for the scientific facts, but the story is interesting. Overall, an interesting book and worth the time to read.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2017The storyline was a good attempt, but it needed a little more backstory to give us a better idea of how we arrived at where we are. The characters are okay with what little we learn from this story. I gave you FIVE-STAR rating on imagination and effort. Danny Scott.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2016Actually LOVED this book. Writer openly admits their own adoration of the Star Trek series..I certainly felt this was a small sampling g Gene Roddenberry might have looked to for future episodes. Just wish it had been..longer.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2016Terrible writing, 5th grade grammar, lousy star trek rip-off plot, improbable events like traveling to a nearby galaxy in 12 hours in what was supposed to be the early days of star travel.
