DARK MONSTER ROMANCE BOXSET: Cyborgs, half-orcs, stone men, and tentacles (Dark Monster Fantasy) Kindle Edition
THIS ROMANCE BOXSET INCLUDES THE 3 STANDALONE BOOKS: PREY, STEEL, AND BLADE.
PREY
To stay 'alive', a stoneshifter must make love to a female every ten years.
When Mila goes to rescue her sister from Zarblu’s sacrifice table, everything goes wrong. Lord Zarblu, stoneshifter and owner of the enormous black fortress looming over the city, turns his gaze upon Mila, and he’s a big, strong, determined male who's had a thousand, thousand years to contemplate life and love-making.
STEEL
Doing it with orcs is taboo, but Ember is going to die so why not take every inch of what she's always wanted and screw society’s taboos... and her half-orc guard, Hoss. When they get rescued by a psychotic cyborg called Baz, Ember begins to see the advantage in having two hulking warlike males by her side.
Correction - make that two hot males who want in her pants, her bed, and maybe her heart.
BLADE
More than sparks will fly – fur, spiky bits, and possibly tentacles - when Ledderik, a depressed cyborg, saves Thorn from death and gets sucked into the wake of her cataclysmic siren attraction.
She has such a cute … tail. There are just a couple of small problems: Led no longer owns his body, and Thorn has been declared a biohazard on most planets. The two of them cross the galaxy, with Led swapping from loaner body to loaner body. The hot ex-cyborg has one priority – make sure the downstairs department is BIG.
These are the pansy dark books you reach for when you're all darked out and one step from seeing a therapist. They’re carnal, naughty, and twisted, and not what your mother ever wanted you to read. Also, there may be some robots that go PEW PEW.

Editorial Reviews
Review
"TO my fellow monster erotica fans, you know (like OMG you know) how hard it is to find good quality books in this genre. And we have a good one here! If you love this genre, it is absolutely a must read." Goodreads reviewer, April
"THERE are not 1 but 2 massive schlongs in this book. ... Battles galore, stubborn heroines who wear tall boots and bodysuits with interesting buckles, swords that are as likely to get you killed as they are to help you kill, and leading men who are made of stone." Clara, In Between the Pages
"IT'S not a book to recommend to your nana (unless your nana is one sex-crazed nympho with a fetish for huge male members). It's one that would shock the living daylights out of people who iron their underwear. But if your mind spends a good portion of its time scouring the gutters for the worst it can find then you'll love this one." Louise, Goodreads reviewer
"TONGUE in cheek humour, action, monster ménage makeout sessions and a wonderful story about accepting and being true to yourself." Bubbles The Book Pimp

- Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2019Lucky for those who gets to read this set! I read each of these separately and am sooo glad the author has put this into a set. It's a great deal and I couldn't pass it up. My review for each is below.
Prey
We meet Mila as she is on her way to rescue her sister from being the sacrifice of a stoneshifter, Lord Zarblu. Somehow, things don't work out the way Mila plans so she does what she can with whatever cards she is dealt with. However, will it be enough to save her sister or will it all be for naught?
I wasn't sure what to think of this book at first. It's not as dark as I thought it would be but there are still some moments that made me pause and think, "how plausible is that?" I wish that it wasn't a short read as I would have like to read more about this world Ms. Silverwood has introduced. Hopefully she will write more as there are other characters she can cover. Overall, I did enjoy the book and if you need something to read while you are in between books, check this book out.
Steel
I rather enjoyed this second book in this series. Ember, the heroine, is smart and can pretty much defend herself if needed to. However, sometimes it helps to have BIG help. Lucky her, she doesn't just have one, but two very BIG helpers in Hoss and Baz.
I do have to say though, having not read the blurb, I was at first confused as who was the hero. The cover picture lead me to believe it was Baz and yet Hoss couldn't be discounted as well.
Another thing too, I may be a little naive and less sexually educated than others, but...is it possible with some of the sex scenes? I mean it was HOT as heck and I am jealous of Ember and I can surely fantasize about this and most likely will for a long while but it really has me thinking. LOL. I should not over analyze things and just go with the flow.
Blade
So...I know I've been waiting for this book to be dropped since the "anti-hero" was introduced to us in the first book. From all the discussion I've seen on the cover, I was trying to figure out how any of it would have been done. Totally was not what I had in mind at all! And yes, I had a nice chuckle at that line "Come with me if you want to live". Considering that he did terminate beings if told too, hahaha.
Thorn was unexpected and a nice surprise. I thought it might have been someone else who was going to be the heroine, but I am glad things turned out the way they did. That "someone" got her just deserts, LOL.
The ending though...at first I was like "WTH?!?!" but then after some explanation, I liked how it ended. Im glad Ledderik got his HEA. BUT...what is Ledderik's final result????

Mila must rescue her sister before she is used on sacrifice day by Lord Zarblu, a stone shifter. Due his large size he could end up killing her. Once Lord Zarblu sees Mila he knows that she is mate and sets plans into motion to make her his. Can he control himself to prepare her for the sacrifice, not to mention get her to volunteer to be his sacrifice? I loved this Dark/Fun and Hot read. The characters are so much fun and the story really draws you into this realm of talking swords and stone men. I loved it!
Steel -
The Cybermonks told Baz if they brought him a princess that they would give him what he wanted. He searches planet after planet looking for her. Ember is a princess but not the kind you would expect. She wants to learn the truth about her family, will she? Ember travels with Hoss, her security detail he is half Orc and half Shag (which means he is big everywhere), even though he is considered beneath her and could get fired for being with him, the attraction is still there. Now that Baz, a cyborg has been equipped with his new tool he can’t wait to try it out with Ember. Can she handle both Baz and Hoss? The story is dark and twisted with lots of steamy scenes, but it is also funny with plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing as to what will happen next. I loved it!
Blade -
Led is a cyborg and on the way to give up his body and live out his life in virtual reality, his master has left him behind and he no longer has a purpose. While stopping for one last drink before he turns his body in he sees Thorn and he just know he needs to help her. Thorn just wanted to go to her naming ceremony and get her father’s ship. Instead sure learns the truth about what she is and needs to go in search of her mother. Led gets himself a new body with some added benefits to keeping Thorn safe, but will they find out the truth about her in time? This is a fast-paced hot read with plenty of drama and lots of twists and turns. I loved the characters; the AIs are so much fun. A great read!

5.0 out of 5 stars One freaking good sci-fi set of stories!!!!
Prey
Rock solid love
Mila will do anything to rescue her sister Tiana from being the sacrifice of Zarblu. Little does she know that she has been manipulated to take her place as the sacrifice. As recent events in her life have placed her in a position where she has nothing to loose, she chooses to attempt this. Zarblu is a stone monster/alien that can change shape and size. Even at his smallest his "equipment" is massive. How will the sacrifice be prepared and will she survive. Is there a future for either or both of them? A well written sexy, sensual alien sci-fi!
Steel
Lust in space!!
What happens when Ember, Human of unknown origin (with an invisible pet/friend), Hoss A mixed breed Orc/Shag and Baz; a grumpy private parts envying Cyborg meet in space?
Magic is what happens! This story did it for me on so many levels! With it's elements of Doctor Who/Red Dwarf characters and adventures, Monty Python like scenarios and humour and it's lusciously sinful moments of human/orc/shag/cyborg "porn" what's not to love?
Entertaining, addictive, raunchy, lusty, action, danger, adventure, intrigue, funny with taboo elements and some darker moments it's a perfect mix!
Blade
Opposites attract.
This book is a fantastic compilation of humor, sci-fi, fantasy, tentacle p*rn, cyborgs, AI characters and a mixed breed alien.
Led is a cyborg who is "lost", has no purpose and has a detachable "weapon". He has a sidekick who is an AI sword, Smorg. Not only is his blade sharp so is his wit. They run into Thorn a mixed breed alien whose sexuality is a ticking time bomb that could end every males sexual appendages as well as their lives. And Jocelyn, the AI version of her starship trapped in a robot body.
Here begins a story of multiple body changes, a multitude of freakin scorching hot alien sex with many appendages, lots of action/adventure and above all a LOVE story.
I laughed, I had my engine revved by the action and sex and I got misty eyed at the end. What more can you ask for?
I say this with the highest of compliments that many elements of this book reminded me of one my favorite British sci-fi comedy’s. Red Dwarf. Nothing was directly taken from that show, this story just evoked the same appreciation and love for a well written, highly entertaining, slightly warped group of characters in otherworld situations/adventures.
The unique and distinct characters, the wacky alien/space adventures, the camaraderie, humor and interaction between all were a joy to read.
Cari Silverwood knocked this story into the next galaxy! Bravo!!
