This book is beautifully written as a continuation from Ilya & Tenley's story. Misha & Charlotte have agendas that need fulfilling & they have selfish reasons for needing each other. Their past, their present & their futures all depend on what they can do NOW. The thing is - they really and truly hate each other. All i can say is this: READ THIS BOOK. Do not stop until you're through or else it will mess with you. The ending MAKES THE BOOK in ways you never even thought of. I would highly suggest reading Savage Heir first, becuase it answers so many questions about supporting characters. Then go check out Jagger's other Bratva series, because they are sooooooo precisely written. If you are a fan of Zoe Blake or JT Geissinger, but you've never read Jagger's Bratva books, you are SORELY missing out. Also - get your chocolate & coffee ready - you'll need 'em both as you read this!!! This book is a cluster to your mind, but it's an amazing journey you'll love. Can NOT wait for book 3!!!

    This is the second book in the series, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. This book offers action, witty dialogue, and romantic scenes.
    Charlotte's new life is like something from a Disney movie. Her mother married a king, making her a princess. However, she finds herself alone in a new environment and attending a new school exclusively for the children of VIPs and billionaires. The students are not particularly accepting or welcoming. To make matters worse, she discovers that she must marry someone or her mother, and stepfather will lose their royal status. Therefore, to avoid an arranged marriage, she takes control of her own life and decides to marry Misha, the son of a powerful and ruthless Russian businessman.
    Misha's social life is quite active with women, drinking and drugs, but his father has made it clear that if he keeps going down that road, his future will be affected. So when the girl he wants revenge on decides, she needs a person to marry. Misha agrees. But there are rules to this marriage...

    This is a new author for me. I read the first book in this series and I enjoyed it but I thought it was a fluke. But after reading Dark Prince, I am sold on Jagger Cole. The story was mostly solid. There were some typos and some parts that were overly juvenile but overall I was very invested in this story.

    I liked Charlotte. She was clueless about certain things but realistically most people would not have clued in to Misha’s ulterior motives or the past they shared. I liked the way she stood her ground and continued to perform well in school in the midst of her life crumbling around her. I also loved the way she took charge of her life from the beginning of the story.

    Misha was also a good character. He had a lot of flaws which made him somewhat relatable. His transformation was gradual and his conflicted feelings endeared me to him.

    I’m looking forward to reading the next book.

    Charlotte is looking for a fake husband to appease the unrest in her step fathers country (where he is king) and asks Mishka.

    I have to admit their reasoning didn’t make ANY sense to me, but just like all bully, romances the parents are not properly functioning (nor any other adult).
    It was hot to read how Mishka walked the fine line between being a prick and being what Charlotte needed.
    I actually enjoyed this book more than the first one in the series with Ilya and Tetly.

This is so in this book with Charlotte seemingly only gasp throughout THE ENTIRE BOOK and Misha growls, smiles in a thin line. It starts to feel like you are reading about animals behavior in the wild geesh! Then I was over the repetition of the past, Charlotte pov overkill ect. More stars if these issues could have been taken down a notch throughout the book.
