G. Allen Wilbanks, an internationally best-selling author on Amazon, is a retired police officer living in Northern California. For twenty-five years he wrote collision and crime reports to pay the bills while writing short fiction at nights to keep himself sane. He is a member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) and has had over 200 short stories published in Deep Magic, Daily Science Fiction, Mythic, The Colored Lens, as well as many other magazines, e-zines and anthologies from all over the world.
In addition to short stories, G. Allen is the author of several novels, including the Amazon #1 best sellers, A Life of Adventure, Deadly Seven, and Testing Grounds. - Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2020Though the book started out a bit racy for me at the beginning, it got faster! G.Allen Wilbanks takes you into the mind of a newly created vampire. The pain, the fear, the confusion of half truths used to keep him bound to the person who created him. Exciting read and an unbelievable ending. I loved every minute!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2020This book kept me enthralled from beginning to end. Mr. Wilbanks spins a wonderful narrative of emotions from anger, love, pain and loss bared by a cleverly written character. A great read for those who enjoy vampire novels.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2021interesting horror book, at least for me. He is a pretty good writer. I wished he had ended this book with a little more creativity. Other than that I liked this read.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2020This book is very well written and well worth reading. It follows the narrator as he becomes a vampire and encounters frickle friends and dreadful adversaries. The narrator will wrap you in his claws and will not let you go until the last page. And although he is no longer human, you will, to your surprise, find yourself cheering for him along the way.
