Deadly Seven Kindle Edition

4.0 out of 5 stars 19 ratings

Six young demons raised from the bowels of hell have been set loose in the mortal realm. Their goal: to harvest souls for their dark master below. Despite their best efforts, they have only achieved their objective with admittedly questionable results.

Azaroth, a much older, but only slightly more competent, senior demon has been tasked with leading the group. His leadership style is slightly less cuddly than Genghis Khan’s, as he does not believe in the carrot and the stick methodology. He prefers a stick in each hand, with maybe a dagger hidden up his sleeve for good measure.

Azaroth takes his responsibility seriously and will not accept failure for any reason. Of course, he also has no idea how to avoid it.

These are the Deadly Seven. Only time will tell if the hapless demons will ultimately prove to be a bigger threat to humanity … or to themselves.

Deadly Seven, by G. Allen Wilbanks, follows the exploits of seven less than capable demons as they struggle to learn the art of temptation. Each chapter includes creature illustrations by Jason Jacobo which add to the enjoyment of experiencing this book. Get your copy now!

The seven deadly sins, personified as human-cloaked demons, are lagging behind their evil brethren in the collection of souls and their boss isn’t happy. I enjoyed the wry sense of humor in this fun, creative, quick read.

In Deadly Seven, we see a collection of chapters/short stories woven together by the big demon Azeroth. What made this book so enjoyable was that the sin was experienced not only by the human soul being groomed for Hell but also manifested in the demon him/herself. I highly recommend this fast read.

The detailed illustrations by Jason Jacobo add to the book's experience and subtle humor.

    G. Allen Wilbanks entertains again with Seven Deadly. In a back room of a Chinese Restaurant, demons meet to discuss their laziness in gathering souls lately. In each chapter of this novella greed, sloth, envy, pride et al, the demon tries to put their best foot forward to “up” their numbers quota. Some are successful, others not. Each story was unique and attention-grabbing. Very entertaining! I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

This was a really good book putting the seven deadly sins as demons in human shells. I would probably read a continuation of this book if there is one.

Another thought provoking installment from G. Allen. How many of us have asked the question, "how could a person do such a thing?" Well, G. Allen presents us with one possible solution. Could demons walk among us disguised as the human instigator of the evil that men do? As with all his entries, G. Allen makes us think well after the last page has been devoured. Pick this one up and enjoy the ride.
