Intriguing, interesting. A very good read.

Much, much better than the books 1-3 of the Chilcott series. Don't be put off if you read that first.

Writing from personal experience, the author provides us with a police procedural series, deliciously and subtly intertwined with paranormal activity. An earnest, troubled and dedicated detective as the main protagonist with a supporting cast of characters all of whom are integral to the plot. Whilst I keep trying to remind myself that comparisons are odious, I will allow myself to suggest that if you have any fondness at all for “Line of Duty” or “Wire in the blood”, you’re probably going to be knocked out by these three books. Final thought...Oh! This is SO good!
