    Cain and Melody’s story was a quick instalove story and I absolutely loved it.
    This couple have an unlikely and unconventional relationship but they cannot deny their immediate sense of attraction and completeness.
    Deep Cut was steamy and over the top attraction and possessiveness but oh so sweet and endearing to read.

    Ok, so first thing to tell you, is that I’m an ARC reader for this author. More importantly, I also buy this author’s books, yeah, the same one as the ARC I receive. Because they’re just that dang good and I need a final cut copy.

    So with all that said, let me just say that this is one of my favorite stories she’s told thusfar. Cain was so very, very OTT and Melody was a great balance of sweetly innocent and also a strong female.

    Completely safe story. No OW/OM romantic drama, neither is with others after meeting, no cheating, and Cain is not one of those cruel alphahole types. And for those of you who love a good epilogue? Oh wowza did Ms Wyatt absolutely amaze me with the first of two epilogues in this story.

    For fans that don't understand how you could fall in love with a flannel wearing tree cutter who enjoys living in the woods has never met Cain.

    He's sexy, broody, knows what he wants and total caveman. Melody is his step niece (not by blood) and has a crush on Cain. With Cain its a lot stronger than a crush.

    He is so protective over her even as secrets about her father come to light. My personal favorite part of the story besides dual POV is getting to read their beautiful epilogue that follows them beyond a happy for now and focuses on FOREVER. I read this book quickly, it's one that pulls you and calls out to fans of alpha men who give you the goosebumps when you read how they look at their woman.

    The MMC had some genuinely funny interactions which had me laughing. I liked the storyline BUT did the FMC really have to call him Uncle continually?! I mean I could see in the beginning why she did and I would even kinda understand maybe saying it jokingly once or twice in the beginning but at some point it just got weirder every time she said it. That was really my biggest concern with the book.

    Well wow i need to find me an alpha lumber jack who growls at me and treats me like a princess. This is written well and i thoroughly enjoyed it. This could be read as taboo to some but the way it is handled it is a beautiful story. Cain is a simple guy with simple needs until Melody comes along. This is there story from the good, bad and really really hott!!. This maybe a short story but it is a steamy little bit of naughtiness to lose yourself on for a few hours. Dani Wyatt has done another book justice if this is your first story by her or your returning reader one lick away.

    No relationship occurred between Uncle and niece - promise! Melody is the daughter of Cain's adoptive brother, who up until one week ago he had never met, which the way Cain's mind, body and heart react to Melody's presence is probably a good thing. Cain acknowledges from their first meeting that they are meant to be together, forever, regardless of the relationship to his adoptive brother, or the age gap between Melody and himself. When Cain's brother, Philip, needs to leave town for work, Philip asks Melody to stay with Cain at his cabin so that she is not by herself in their new house while he is gone. This request opens the "door" for both parties, Melody and Cain, to further explore their feelings for each other both emotionally, romantically and it wouldn't be a Ms. Wyatt book without the physically being extremely erotic and intense! What sets this story apart from other "insta-love" novella's is that it is not smooth sailing when outside parties, like Philip, discover the relationship, the anger, the hateful words and hurt feelings. Eventually, as in all Ms. Wyatt's books, the couple reaches a very romantic HEA, and as for me, I've already purchased my next three books!
