Nothing comes easy.

Nothing is given but must always be earned.

The problem is I’m too tainted and broken to have anything good.

That was a lesson I was taught early.

A lesson I carried throughout my life, and into every relationship I had.

I did not trust.

Trusting meant I was vulnerable, and when you let your guard down, that’s when all the dark shit seeps in. That’s when the demons attack.

Nothing good happens in the dark.

But, Aurora, she was the sun, there was a goodness about her. I knew if I didn’t let her go, I would dim her light and chip away at the wonderful person she was. It's what I did, what I’ve always done. I take the good and break it.

But no one told me letting her go would be one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face.

    Derange Ink: Jace is book 3 in this amazing series written by the talented author C.A. Harms. This is Jace & Aurora's story. The characters had an undeniable connection and crazy hot chemistry. I am truly enjoying this well written series with all the amazing characters that keep this series going. This was an emotional read that tugged at my heart strings.
    "I would give it more than 5 stars if possible." I couldn't get enough of this story and these characters. The author knew the right moment to make you laugh, cry or swoon. I was sad when it ended because it was so good.

    I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

    If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
    Deranged Ink #1 : Daxton
    Deranged Ink #2 : Oliver

    This is Aurora and Jace’s story. Jace and Aurora are friends. The both want each other but Jace does not thinks he is good enough for her. So he keeps her close as a friend. But when he thinks his other friend Zac is dating her he loses it. Can he figure out what he wants before he loses her to someone else? Or will he push her away so hard she does not want to come back? What happens when she gets hurt? Will he realize that she is all he will ever need and want?

    I recommend this book.

    This big tattooed family is amazing. Jace and Aurora are perfect for one another. Aurora deserved all the happiness and love. Jace didn’t think he deserved love. He finally realized that Aurora is exactly what she needed. I can’t wait to get more of this family.

    Jace wants what he cant have. Aurora is tired of waiting. Zac, well, he's just there as a friend to both but gets caught in the middle. Honestly though Jace wasn't my favorite in the beginning, but he grew on me. Aurora's past catches up with her and an incident makes it hard on her and only Zac is aware of her issues. Jace is there for her when he finds out and changed my whole opinion of him. He stepped up, he took care of her and made her feel safe. I cannot wait for Zac's story and to see how the rest of the family is doing.

    Book 3 is Jace and Aurora story in the Deranged series and it will set your knickers on fire. They are combustible yet vulnerable in their own way. I do not recommend reading unless you have read the first two because their story falls nicely into the mix knowing their background from the other books. Alone they are insecure and vulnerable. Together they are intense and fun to read. I love the build up we get from reading them in the first 2 books. Their story is not as drama filled but it does make you want your own Jace. Who knew he could be sweet and know all the things to say to give you the chills. Loving this series and I cannot wait for the next book.

    OH MY MY! JACE AND AURORA!! This series has been one of my favorites and each story does not disappoint. I wasn't really a fan of Jace because he seemed so standoffish previously, but he more than makes up for it. Every one of the characters are so well written and the author weaves each character seamlessly throughout every story. The characters feel so real and you can actually get a picture in your mind of the tattoo shop. One of my favorite things about this author is that her characters are far from perfect, but they are real and she shows their flaws and brings each character to their version of "happy."

    The bad boy, the consummate flirt, the one who’s been around the block many times. He is gorgeous, funny and a blast to be around. He’s a good time and that’s where it ends. He’s not the boyfriend, the one you can be with forever. He has deep scars and lessons learned in his past that have taught him trust is not something you give out. But then the sun shines through his darkness. He’s afraid his darkness will take over her entire world.

    Aurora felt the intensity the moment she met him and it didn’t take her long to feel more. She knew his ways and knew the pain that could come if she let herself get more entangled in his web. Moments outside of their control create the perfect storm for her once again to be in his vision. Now he’s aware. She’s the one who he let go but also the one who makes him whole. He will have a mountain to climb and walls to break to begin to feel the sun shining on his face once again.

    Each book in this series keeps getting better and better and I LOVED the first two! The stories, the writing, the characters, everything pulls you in and you want to stay in this world. It has everything you will want and need. I cannot wait for the next book to release! You’ve got me hooked!!

    This is the third book in the Deranged Ink series and is Jace and Aurora's story.

    Jace hasn't had an easy life. He's never really felt good enough, so when he met Aurora, he kept her at arms length no matter how much it hurt them both. But faced with the prospect of losing her forever will he finally face the truth and tell Aurora how he really feels and will she give him chance or will je break her heart all over again.

    This book was beautifully written, and I just couldn't put it down. Be prepared to laugh and cry. It's definitely a book I would recommend.
