Catching the scent of her mate again, Delilah couldn’t understand why he kept pushing her away, but she was determined to find out. Unfortunately the past was coming for them all, and threatening the lives of the entire Wiltshire pack.

    I loved Ashers book so much I was really hopeful on this one. The kink itself, I'm ok with.

    What I'm not ok with, I HATE the whole "you're so sexy when you're angry" thing. there is a difference between kink between 2 consenting adults and the condescension of finding real emotions "cute"

    Because of that, I had a really hard time WANTING the two MCs to wind up together. I just kept wanting to tell her feelings are valid, and she doesn't have to be with somebody who doesn't treat them as if they are.

    For me, it's very difficult to find any fulfillment with the way this ended when I was really rooting for either a complete personality change or for her to find someone better.

    Book two in the Wolves of Wiltshire Pack, did not disappoint! The story continues where “Asher” (book one) left off. Although, each book ends with a HEA for its respective hero and heroine, I think readers will enjoy the series most if read in order, because the plots and characters do interconnect and build on each other. And it was great fun to see past characters play roles in this book.

    Derek “D” is as alpha male as they come, but he meets his match in his fated mate, Delilah. I loved the push-pull between the two and their chemistry was off the charts! Finding out about D’s haunted past and how it intertwined with Delilah’s, made their getting together challenging, but oh so sweet when they finally realized they were meant to be.

    Loving this series! Can’t wait to read Jase’s story!

    After finishing Asher (and loving it), I couldn't wait to dive into Derek's book and it did not disappoint!

    If you've read book 1 you already know that Derek is the Delta of the Wiltshire Pack, but don't let his delta status fool you. He's strong and loyal, and will do whatever it takes to protect his loved ones. His past (and the memories that go with it) haunt him every day, but within those memories lies a scent he can't forget. The scent of his mate... a scent he thought he'd smell again...and now it's at his front door.

    Delilah and her friend Julie are on the run. Since the fall of their Alpha, their pack has faced nothing but internal strife and d€ath and anyone who tries to leave is branded a deserter. After being denied refuge from other packs, the last thing she expects is for the Wiltshire Pack to welcome them with open arms...or to scent her mate.

    Derek definitely met his match (and mate) with Delilah. She was so feisty and like Derek, very protective of her loved ones. They both gave as good as they got, and I loved how that was a trait that only heightened their attraction. And don't even get me started on Derek's d0minänt side in the bedroom (or anywhere really 🥵). He more than earned Delilah's sübm!ssion, yet even as she sübm!tted, she still had that feisty side that was so Delilah.

    These two were perfect for each other. Loved their story and can't wait to read Jase's (book 3)

    As with book 1, book 2 runs the same track with different characters. Derek is a strong character whose former life haunts him. More especially a scent he has never gotten over. That of his mate. When she shows up with her girlfriend where Derek has created a new life it gets complicated.

    These 2 characters are Irish and strong willed. They continuously butt heads even though they know they're destined to be together. I totally enjoyed this book. Just the right amount of angst and love to keep the pages turning. Highly recommended.

    In my opinion, Derek's story with Delilah is better than Asher and Mina's, but they are both great stories!!! Delilah is so feisty, I love her!!! Good amount of spice too 😁🔥

    If you’ve read book one (Asher), then you got an intro to Derek. Delta my hiney! He alphas quite nicely throughout the second installment, bossing his D around, and boy does she need it! She’s a feisty one.
    Wolf fights, fist fights, sexy times! A hero who is flawed but not irredeemable; a female who has her own issues; and they come together perfectly.
    I highly recommend! Now on to book three!

    I really loved this book. Book 2 and they just keep getting better. I'm still in live with Asher but Derek wow. He is one possessive alpha and his dirty talk is hot. Can't wait to get stuck in to Book 3 loved it.
