A must read, and re-read!
Mikey Lee's Book "Detecting Lust" is a unique read! The story is well written, hard to tell it is his first book. He has a natural talent, and style all his own. This Detective erotica, is more then just erotic! The love story between Zee and Seth (the main character) is beautiful and moving. The book gives of a very masculine feel with the way Seth talks and handles things, it is apparent it was written by a man. The book is also a great read for women as well. Most men can not write romance well. However, Mikey Lee did! There is depth to the characters, the plot is unique and original. As soon as I was done reading it, I wanted to pick it up and re-read it. He gives us enough detail and back story to feel fulfilled and crave more! I have to add, not a lot of authors attempt to write food scenes. It is a very difficult task and if you get it wrong, it is very wrong! Yet, Mikey Lee even pulled that off beautifully. The way Seth enjoyed his dinner in one scene made me crave the same meal. And I am a picky eater. Way to go Mikey!!! I can not wait to read your next book!

I got so into this book for some many reason...one was Seth was HOT AF.....two was he was a Detective....three he loved his wife.....four he was a dirty talker who loved to please his wife. Zee, Seth's wife also loved to please her man and was always ready to give a blowie in order to make her man feel better...! I mean what man would not love that shizzzzz. Also, there is a great story in this book aside from the HOT HOT HOT sex. I am just gonna say that I did need a cool off period after reading one scene that took place in a basement (cant say anymore with out spoilers) but trust me your gonna want to read it.

    Mikey Lee was a new author for me and I am very glad I decided to read this book. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and seeing what other fun positions Seth and Zee find themselves in. I also am going to make it my mission to meet the awesome Mikey Lee.....one day Sir....one day :)

    I was recently introduced to the works of Mikey Lee by a fellow reader. I was unsure going in about how I would feel as he is my first male Indie author read. I was quite surprised. I thought I might have issue with a detective novel and the possibility of certain scenes that may make me squeamish. Actually he not only wrote a novel with steam but included loyalty between a husband and wife and compassion for a crime victim. Whether he would like to admit or not, Mikey Lee showed a softer side in his novel as well as the story of an ace SVU detective. Quite a different approach to a story line than what I am used to, but still quite a unique and engaging story. He includes the first several chapters of his next novel in the series and I do plan to read on! A great combination of strength and testosterone along with women who can hold there own. Thank you for tempting me into trying something new, Mikey Lee.

    This is one hot sexy read. For being a debut novel Mikey Lee hit it out of the park. Sexy Detective Seth Lane and his hot and spicy wife Zee are awesome. Seth is a Detective with the Special Victims Unit. When Seth catches a case, he incorporates the help of Ashley the rookie desk clerk. While Seth has the freak ability to solve his cases with lightening quick speed, Ashley has a crush on the sexy detective. Though Seth being a great cop just cannot figure out if Ashley has a crush on him. Men I swear??? But Zee his sexy wife causes him to keep his eyes on her only as, me the reader is talking to the book telling Ashley to sit herself down he is married. Zee helps Seth with his case with some good ole fashion afternoon nookie. As Seth solves the case Zee is always in the back of his mind and the front of his pants. I giggled, smiled, and OH MY DAMN through the whole book. The sexual connection between Seth and Zee is hot, hot, hot.. I cannot wait for the next installment.

    I picked this book up after hearing about the Author in a Facebook group. I knew from reading the synopsis that it would be a serious book. But what I did not expect were the laugh out loud moments. Although the third person pov was not really my favorite. That being said, I think the storyline in Detecting Lust was incredible. Sexy Detective trying to help out women in need...I mean what's not to love?!? There were a few times the story was hard to follow. And the pov's did go back and forth a bit too much for my liking. But overall I believe this book was a great fast paced read!

    Mikey Lee did a great job with his first novel. Detecting Lust is a great story that follows Detective Seth Lane through a case he is trying to solve with the help of his wife, Zee and his colleague Ashley. I have to say I loved Seth and Zee’s relationship from the very beginning because it just seems real to me. Not all the sex, which is great, but the way they interact with each other daily just sticks out to me. Zee is a strong woman and I love that she is an equal in their marriage. Now on the flip side I didn't like Ashley from the first page she was introduced on. There's just something about her that I don't trust at all but she does help Seth quite a bit. I found myself right in the middle of the investigation trying my hardest to figure it out for myself but in the end I figured it out when he did. Great read that gets your blood pumping and your mind working!!

    I liked all of the characters and the storyline. Seth was great and I loved how into his wife he was and how he just wanted to solve his case.
    There were some things I didn't care for that, for me, brought my rating down a bit. It was the third person pov (I think it was third person pov) and the other povs besides Seth. Of course this is just my own personal preference. I would have rather just been inside Seth's head only. TBH I didn't feel like the other character's povs needed to be there. Also, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I think some of the sex scenes with Seth and Zee were a little out of place.
    Mikey Lee is an author that is new to me and my review aside, I'm still looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next.
