Save time and collect information even as you sleep!
You'll also find resources to help you prepare a business plan in minutes.

Identifying your target market and target customer(s): This book will explain how to create a customer avatar with lots of suggestions, diagrams and examples to show you how to do this. I spend a lot of time on the road and this book was the perfect length for about a three hour trip. The material inside was detailed, examining aspects of customer classification and market research as well as legal considerations and protections that I hadn't heard in other related texts. Filled with links to additional useful sites and information, it is worth going through the book multiple times as information will pop out at you on subsequent reads. I am applying the material to a current personal projects of limited scope, but I can see this being applicable for multiple industries and businesses all across the scale of size and influence. Overall an excellent and not too lengthy read.

I want a print copy of this book! Too much information in one small package, I need to put tabs on the pages for easy reference.
I'm finding this information indispensable for thinking about some upcoming projects. It's so much common sense. There's sections on everything from intellectual property rights, to business plans, to website building. Highly apparent that the author knows how to make sure a project can succeed right from the start, without wasting a lot of time on dead ends.
The most useful part of the book for most readers will be the sections on market research and product planning. It will help immensely to make sure that consumers will be interested in your idea before you are already trying to sell it. Unfortunately so many of us get wound up in our projects without considering if it's really marketable. Thi book can give you a method to do your own research on the idea and decide if it's ready for market, if it needs adjustments, or if you want to go in another direction entirely.
Packed with helpful links to sites and services, this book is a must read for the ambitious self-starter and many small business owners.

Easy to read, quick overview of different tips and tools needed when you either start a new business or come up with new business idea that need further evaluation. I know most of the topics covered in this book, however I will still use it in the future to get the tools and useful links when needed. Definitely worth having it in library. Just don't expect any deep guidance.

This book is like adding a member to your startup mastermind group. You can go back to any chapter or section and get your questions answered or work on exercises. If you're considering a startup, the author shares a common goal and is looking to encourage and help you through the pre-startup process.

I have had experience starting two other online software as a service companies beginning in the late nineties. I am just now getting ready to launch my third online software company and I found very solid and practical advice in this book regarding how to go about validating your product idea and your potential customers. The exercises do take time, but it is an easy and concise read.

I teach entrepreneurship and have many books on the subject. This one is too superficial. Right topics but there is a layer of conceptual knowledge missing between the topics and the specific tools introduced

The book is a quick read. You will find all the principles to go from an idea to final business. Though, it won't get you in deep on each topic, but will give you a great set of tool to start and take action on your idea, while keep learning more about business plan and market research. The process proposed is well explained and easy to digest for all beginner entrepreneurs.

This book should be on the shelf of anyone that is running a business today. Not clear that this is a short primer of less than 100 pages that has the feel of something printed on a home computer. I can't speak for the advice as have not read yet, but on weight alone it is not the in depth thesis I was looking for.
