Devil's Savior (Devil's Saints Motorcycle Club: New Orleans Chapter) Kindle Edition
The moment I saw Sioux, I knew she was going to turn my world upside down. And she has, more than she’ll ever know. I had to have her, but when she looked at me all she saw was a bit of fun wrapped in leather astride a bike. That was fine with me because I knew the truth.
She’ll never know the fear that gripped me when I saw her bleeding out on the ground months ago. I’ll nurse her back to health while showing her just how much she means to me, even as she tries to push me away. My woman is stubborn as hell, but my stubbornness is only matched by my loyalty—to my woman and to my club.
When our enemies think that we’ve let our guard down, they’ll quickly find out just how much they’ve messed up and how far I’ll go to protect Sioux. The Riding Rebels should have never tried to take on the DSMC, no matter who they have at their back. My job as an enforcer sometimes means I have to get my hands dirty, but since my darkness protects my woman and my club, I’ll never apologize for it. She’s my savior and I’m never letting her go.
SIOUX
My best friend has fallen for the bad boy biker from her past and their happiness is beautiful to see. That doesn’t mean I’m ready to fall at the feet of my own biker, even though he won’t leave me alone. We spent one night together, and I figured that would be enough to dispel the attraction to Apostle. It only made it worse, but I refuse to admit it.
When my best friend was in danger, I was trapped in the crosshairs. Getting shot changed my life in so many ways, but Apostle has been there as I’ve recovered. Almost everything in my life is back to normal which means it’s time to leave Apostle’s house. I need to stand on my own, but I have a feeling he won’t let me.
Do I keep pushing him away? Can I imagine my life without him in it now that he’s been at my side for so long? How can I walk away when those who want to do the DSMC harm show back up and Apostle is willing to protect me with is life? He’s my savior and has earned my loyalty and love.
**18+ If you like alpha heroes and an insta-love story that is sweet and spicy but isn’t necessarily simple, then this is for you. No cheating with a guaranteed HEA. This is the second book in the Devil’s Saints Motorcycle Club: New Orleans Series. The DSMC: NO is first mentioned in Flowers and Moonlight. The Seattle Chapter will get books as well and there will be crossover. The DSMC is not a one percenter club, but these guys don’t always operate within the law either. This series will be darker as the club has ties to the Guidice Crime Family. Don’t be surprised if there is OW (other women) drama within the series either.**

About the author

Ember Davis loves alpha heroes with a range of emotions, but a strong sense of how to take care of their women. She loves her heroines from all walks of life, just like her heroes, and she wants them to be real and relatable. Her heroines tend to be sassy, opinionated and smart.
Ember is a stay at home mom of two who recently refound her love of books and all things romance and is so glad that she did. She’s always been creative, but writing and creating stories that she would love to read satisfies the dreams she had as a little girl. She loves butterflies, the color purple and enjoying time with her family.
Pssst…it’s totally a pen name, but everything above is 100% true.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2024Ember Davis and her world building are second to none! She creates worlds that build on each other (while being able to standalone, as well) and gives us glimpses of characters, past and future, that feel like friends!
The connection between these 2 sparked from the beginning and when Sioux is caught in the line of fire - Apostle will do all he can to protect her and her heart... Sioux fights him as long as she can but her heart needs protecting!!
I loved this story and the one before!! I look forward to MORE from the Devil's Saints MC!
Standout quotes:
1- “These biker men might be rough around the edges and even scary to those who don’t know them, but they know what they want, and they go for it without apologies or remorse. It’s something to love about them, not fear.”
2- “My point,” Cherise laughs with her words, “is that you never know what could happen if you don’t take a chance. It’s true, you might get hurt. But,” she pauses and holds my gaze, “you could also have a love that lasts a lifetime and then some.”
- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2024Is the club enforcer and is waiting to cliam his. After being shot by rival bikers she's healing and making a decision about her future with Apostle.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2024I was waiting for Apostle and Sioux's story to be written. I was not disappointed at all with their love story. He's was determined to help her heal, take care of her, protect her and make her fall in love with him. Sioux was determined to not fall, but her denial was hard to come by when she became his whole world. I absolutely loved these two together. Their path was a rough one for sure, but they grew as they traveled it. The storyline had enough danger, conflict and struggles to tie it all together. I have enjoyed the DSMC love stories and hope Ember gives us more of them soon
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2024A very good read. Two strong people. One (a Devil's Saint) trying everything to be the man Sioux needs to help her recover emotionally and physically from a gun shot wound from a rival MC. Sensitive subject matter regarding human trafficking of under age females.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2024I was so looking forward to Apostle and Sioux’s story and I was not disappointed. He shows such patience because he knows, just knows, that she is his future, his happiness, his life, his woman. These are complex people, their story is well developed, their sexy times are hot and steamy, and the people that surround them are delightful.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2024This is book number 2 of the Devil's Saints Motorcycle Club: New Orleans Chapter series and focuses on Apostle (Crosby) and Sioux. Crosby is an enforcer for the DSMC and has known that Sioux was his from the second he laid eyes on her. When she gets shot, he is there every step of the way of her recovery patiently waiting for her to let him in. Sioux feels the same connection to Crosby but is terrified to have her heart broken so she pushes him away as much as possible. Thankfully, Crosby doesn’t let Sioux push him away and he is there to slowly break down her walls and show her that she can trust her heart with him. He is determined to claim his woman and stops at nothing to make sure that they both get what they truly want. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2024This book is all about a rough biker who so sweetly takes care of his injured women, even though she doesn’t realize she is his woman. He is patient and kind and all sorts of wonderful. Then, the steam and the heat meet and it is an explosion of chemistry and fireworks between Sioux and Crosby. Wow 🤩!! Of course the RRMC pops up again causing trouble, but the club gets through it with no trouble because they are a family. Love this series so much!!.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2024This book opens with the aftermath of Sioux recovering after being shot in Book 1 (Devil’s Return). Apostle and Sioux had a steamy one night stand after which Sioux was determined to move on. But during her recovery, Apostle sets about helping his woman recover so that he can eventually claim her. He can see their future clearly, now all he needs to do is get Sioux on board. In the middle of all this the Riding Rebels MC has regrouped and they are doing some shady stuff in the city and the Devil’s Saints are forced to step in and save the day.
This is a morally grey MC book, if you have read other books by Ember you know that even though the DS have rough edges, they love hard, and Apostle is not different. I love Sioux’s sass and her independence, and even though she fight hard against it, she knows there is something between her and Apostle she can’t ignore. I loved this book, it’s a good book 2 in the series. If you haven’t read other books this can be read as a stand alone, but trust me, you will want to jump in and read all the related books. Great read. If you love a good MC story, this is a great choice.
