    A good story with good writing, good characters, and lots of action (as usual for this author). The plot was a little unusual, with a lot of fooling around without doing anything. It held my attention from beginning to end, but I found nothing like a reasonable ending. I consider it an unfinished story, but it was still a good read and worth all 5 stars.

    I have read at least 4 other average to pretty good books from this author.The title's character is a corrupt murderer. The first book of the series describes a despicable impossibly bad character. This sheriff Devine kills many to cover up an old story. I tried to finish this book. The sheriff is a mass murderer. The story, is so far-fetched that it made unable me to waste more time on this book. Lift your game or find a way for your regular readers to buy more unworthy books. I am done!
