Kacey Hamford is a pen name for me (Kelly). I am in my thirties and started this journey in 2014, I love to read romance books about rockstars, so thought I would have a go at writing one myself. I really enjoyed it and got a boost of confidence once my books started selling.

I have gone on to write a young adult series, set in a college. The series is still on going.

I also have an MC series, it was something different for me to write and I enjoyed it so much, especially when I got readers telling me they would love to read books about the sub characters.

I work full time as a dog groomer, I love to read and my friends and family are very important to me. They are all so supportive of my writing career and encourage me to carry on.

    I read a lot of MC books and although this one had some good points, I'm on the fence about it. It was obvious that it was written with a lot of English slangs/terms and although I don't mind the fact it takes place in the UK, I wasn't a fan of the whole pregnant woman taken as payment for a debt and what happens to Heather when she gets to the MC was just not my cup of tea (an 8 month pregnant woman forced to dance/strip to pay a debt?)
    Blade is a hottie with a softer side and he takes her as his own to protect her and her baby but what goes on after the birth and the twist at the end with cliffhanger was just something that made me shake my head and roll my eyes. I was going to read the next book to see what happens but the price was raised up overnight so I won't be buying it just yet.
    An ok read for those who might like a different type of biker book but for me (who has read hundreds of them) it just wasn't realistic enough.

    This is the start of a new series and oh how I wish the next book was out too. I want the second book already. This is another hit for Kacey Hamford. The book starts out with Heather seeing her husband James shot and killed before her. The Prez of the Devon Destroyers, Uno says she has to come with them to work off James' debt even though she is very pregnant. Blade, an enforcer, with the club says he wants Heather for himself so he can keep her safe. Heather has to dance for the club members and any visiting clubs. I don't want to give any spoilers, but I want to say there is love, laughs, danger, and many secrets in this first book alone. You will get to meet a lot of characters from the Devon Destroyers, plus you learn that Heather's sister is married to the VP of the Cornish Crusaders MC. Will Heather and Blade/Kade find love or will they be separated? Why does the Destroyers want Heathers baby there so much? They are in for a big surprise there!! I highly recommend this series to everyone and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series when they become available.

    After finding out her husband was lying to her, eight month pregnant Heather finds herself paying off his debt to the Devon Destroyers MC. It's not enough he was killed in front of her but she is fair game, a hole to fill pregnant or not. That is until Blade claims her as a possible old lady. Blade is a man who had it all and lost it, he sees Heather as a second chance but can he give her his heart?

    This was a bit all over the place and had a cliffhanger ending that I was disappointed in finding. I had not realized a novella. There were aspects I really liked in the story but other than Heather, CG, Cammie and Blade did not like the other characters. Probably one of the roughest MC's I have read about. I might reread at a later date and change my mind.

    MC books are my addiction, I can't read enough of them and this book is no exception. The fact that it is based around one of my favourite places in the UK is just an added bonus. I could not put it down and had to fight to actually put it down and go to sleep or work.

    Blade and Heather start out as an unconventional couple but you fall more in love with them the further along their journey you get. There is a cliffhanger at the end but that just leaves you wanting more.

    Brilliant book by a fab author, I personally cannot wait for more

    So i gave this 4 stars only coz it had a cliff hanger and quite frankly im sick of cliff hangers. But as a story it wasn't bad. Some things got me like how she was lusting after the H after watching what she saw. Trying not to give anything away here but the ending actually shocked me a bit was not expecting that. It was a good story but now i have to wait for # 2.

    I really enjoyed this book. I was hooked from the beginning, so much so I very nearly burnt dinner because I struggled to pull myself away!
    There are a couple of darker moments and some bits that might make you cringe but in the grand scheme of things, as far as MC books go, this one is relatively tame.
    There is the hot sex, the sweet falling in love, the angst and the violence. This book has got it all.
    The characters are either love to hate or love to love, there's not really any in between with them.
    I guessed there would be a "i didn't see that coming" moment in this book and I wasn't disappointed! it's a good one!

    Mmmmm where to start. The book was good but not great. Too many unanswered questions. Too many secrets kept from Heather by Blade. The cliffhanger really got me though. So over them. If I had known it was a cliffhanger I would have waited for the second book.
