About the Author

Rinda Elliott Rinda loves unusual stories and credits growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept them amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, she tried to separate her darker side with her humorous and romantic one. She published short fiction, but things really started happening when she gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, she loves making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with her husband and two children. She is the author of the Beri O'Dell urban fantasy series, the YA Sister of Fate Trilogy with Harlequin Teen, and the paranormal romance Brothers Bernaux Trilogy. She also writes erotic fiction as Dani Worth. She can be found at RindaElliott.com and her Dani Worth blog . She's represented by Miriam Kriss at the Irene Goodman Agency. Jocelynn Drake Love comes in many varied forms. There is the love of family, love of country, and love of chocolate. But for Jocelynn Drake, one truly treasured love is the love of a good story. This former Kentucky girl spends the majority of her time lost in the strong embrace of a good book. When she's not hammering away at her keyboard, frowning at her monitor, or curled up with a book, she can usually be found cuddling with her cat Demona, walking her dog Max, or flinging curses at the TV while playing a video game. Outside of books, cats, and video games, she is completely enamored of Bruce Wayne, Ezio Auditore, travel, tattoos, explosions, fast cars, and Anthony Bourdain (but only when he's feeling really cranky). She is the author of the urban fantasy series: The Dark Days series and the Asylum Tales. She also occasionally writes as Joy Douglass when she's in the mood for a little historical romance. Another good read by Drake and Elliot. Spoiler alert.

This one starts with Ian Pearce on his way to have dinner at Over the Rhine. A very nice restaurant. Ian is a Chef so he should know. A Chef that owns his own restaurant. The Rialto which is highly successful.

Ian also has a close group of friends. Friends who saved him from Jagger. A man who bought and sold children to pedophiles. A man who is the king of the underworld of Cinncinnati, Ohio. They bought Ian from Jagger and saved his life. A fact Ian doesn't know and they will never tell him.

Lucas Vallois is the leader. A man who used to be in the Army. A man who made millions and is now a successful businessman. Andrei, a Romanian, who started out as his bodyguard is now the love of his life. A very capable and savvy Andrei. Lucas is currently out of the country as he felt so guilty for killing Green. A Green who killed Melissa. Lucas thinks if he hadn't made threats against Greene then Melissa would still be alive. Andrei is pissed at Lucas for leaving. A Lucas who won't answer his phone for any of them.

Rowe is another of those close friends. Rowe is bi sexual and lost his wife Melissa to Greene who turned out to be Jaggers son. Rowe now has Noah Keegan in his life. Rowe and Keegan are ex Army Rangers and death to those who would do them harm. Rowe and Keegan are ghosts in the woods and have more than enough capability to keep the whole group safe.

Snow is the final member of the clan. Snow is a surgeon and has been called Snow since his hair turned white when he was in his twenties. Snow is one crusty guy who gets along with no one outside his close circle of friends. He currently has the EMT Jude who is the love of his live. Jude and his family make Snow feel like he's on top of the world. Snow was also in the Army. He, Rowe and Vallois all served together.

Right now Ian is two minutes from the restaurant when he spots Jagger outside another eatery. He ducks down and doesn't know if Jagger spotted him or not. He did and sends a bruiser to get Ian. A big guy who grabs Ian. An Ian who uses the self defense moves that Rowe taught him A Rowe who owns his own security company full of big guys who know how to fight and protect clients. Ian manages to get away and call Andrei. Andrei meets with him and Ian tells him he's okay but it was Jagger who tried to grab him. He takes pictures of his injuries and sends them the Vallois hoping the man will come home.

Vallois does come home to his penthouse full of his friends. Rowe has told him countless times that he doesn't blame Lucas for Mel's death. Vallois has plenty of fences to mend chiefly with Andrei.

Hollis Banner is a cop. A cop who has been undercover in Jaggers operation for months. A cop who has a thing for Ian Pearce. An Ian who also has a thing for the good looking, big cop. A cop who is about to bring Jaggers world down on top of him.

So begins one damned fine read.

This one has Ian, Hollis, Lucas, Rowe, Snow, Jude, Andrei, Keegan, a safe house, an Ian who finds out that his friends bought his freedom, an Ian who doesn't like hiding, a Jagger who will do anything he can to get Ian and his friends, Rowe's dogs, a Hollis who goes to Vallois penthouse to fill them all in on what's gone down with Jagger, a Hollis who knows he will lose his job over it and doesn't care, a Hollis who needs to check on Ian, an Ian who has the knowledge locked in his head, knowledge of Jagger, his haunts, his hideouts, and his probable whereabouts, an Ian who can't unlock his mind to give the others the knowledge they need to beat Jagger, a Jagger who will try to kill them all, an Ian who was in hell on earth when his parent sold him to Jagger, kids Jagger will be holding a sale on, kids Vallois and his clan intend to free if they can find them, Gidget who is Rowe's computer geek, a Gidget who can find anyone or anything, colors, akeldma a word or a name, a name that Ian recognizes, a cemetery for a town that died long ago, a town everyone has forgotten existed, a raid on that town, kids who are saved, a wounded Lucas and the rest of the clan doing their best to kill Jagger, his men, save each other and stay alive.

    Five Stars.

Ian and Hollis have been edging in this series for the last three books and I love that they finally got their happily ever after. I really enjoyed seeing the wrap up of the over-arching plot of this series and seeing the bad guy get taken down. I'm definitely glad I picked this series up.

Ian and Hollis.... I was the most excited for these two.

If you've read any of the previous books, which i really hope you have, if you've gotten this far. You'd know of most of the terrible things that happened to Ian when his family sold him into sex slavery at a young age. A debt that his parents had with the infamous, Boris Jagger. We'd seen them all trying to get out of his clutches for the last several books in this series, but in this one is where it all comes to ahead. I won't spoil it, or....I'll try not to... but I was so glad to see it finally come to an end.
And seeing Rowe and Noah in action.... shew, that whole scene, I saw it in my head so vividly and it was hot. like.... I wish it was real and I could've really watched all that badassery in action. Just wow.

Anyway.... Hollis is back, thankfully, having gone under cover to try and help put Jagger away for good. When he slips the feds again, it leaves Hollis and the rest of the guys taking matters into their own hands. And what a ride it was, I was having heart palpatations through half the book! It was intense and somewhat romantic, if I'm honest. I love the way that all of these guys love each other.

Lucas also comes back from his extended time away, and I loved how Andrei just didn't up and forgive him. I was mad at Lucas as well, and I hated that he'd hurt Andrei by leaving and pushing him away. My heart broke for him, and though I was so glad that they worked it out, I'm glad Lucas at least had to work on it. He got to feel that fear and hurt that he'd subjected Andrei to.

I was also so glad to see Geoffery... Even though I'm an idiot and read that series before I'd read this one, I'm going to go back and re-read them, because I want to remember that HEA for him, and come on.... this whole series of family and friends are so hot, I'm just not ready to be done with them.

Overall, an excellent series that I'm positive I'll read again.
5 stars from me! On to the next one! <3

This 4th story in the Unbreakable Bonds series is just as good as the other 3 books. Devour is about Ian, who is the youngest of a tight knit group of men whose deep friendship is built on a past full of tragedies and heartbreak. Lucas, Snow, Rowe, and Ian love and protect each other like family. As each man falls in love, their significant others are brought into the family - although often slowly and with some (adorable) suspicion.

Like the other books, Devour is full of suspense, humor, and sexy times. Oh, the sexy times... so hot!

I love this series because all of these men worked through a lot of adversity to achieve their successes, they are fiercely loyal and understand each other's weaknesses/insecurities, and the way they didn't believe in love until it finally happened to them

A brilliant end to a brilliant series. Full of action from start to finish, all the gang were included and their relationships just got better as the story progressed. I seemed to've waited an age for Ian and Hollis' story, and it was certainly worth it; I loved it, the two were meant for each other. Very well written, wrapping the story up nicely. Parts of it were heart breaking, but ended on a hopeful note. I absolutely loved the character of Hollis, he has hidden depths. In fact, by the end of the story, he'd became my favourite character of the series. Thank you ladies, l look forward to future spinoffs. Can't wait.

This last installment is about Ian, a young chef, with a tragic past that has come back to hurt him. Ian was sold by his parents at a young age into sex-slavery, and although years later, and a free man, Boris Jagger his captor still have an axe to grind him and his friends. Hollis Banner is a cop who is seriously attracted to Ian, and has put himself in an undercover position is Jaffer’s employment.

This was a great read, and a great tie up for the series. We loved re-visiting the other characters, wish there was more Snow-Jude loving, and seeing where they are after a year of relationships. The bond between Lucas, Ian, Snow and Rowe really make this book special. They are such individual characters that you feel like you know them all and their reactions.

But Devour focuses around Ian and Hollis and man, it is sweet like you know it should be. Hollis is a blue-collar cop, who likes casseroles and beer and Ian optimizes a pretty-boy. And they work together. Ian need that strong man, and Hollis finds himself playing nurturer and really needing that. But the sweetness doesn’t overwhelm the steam. Whoo boy, the steam is fantastic, and the building relationship, after a year of flirting, is just what we need as a reader. We love Ian and really hoped he would get that happy ending and thank goodness Devour delivers.
So, all in all, Devour is a fantastic wrap to an even better series, that seriously shoud be read and re-read! We are so happy that we don’t have to say goodbye to the Unbreakable Boys yet, as there is to be a spinoff series – yay!
