Diary of a Bad Boy (The Bromance Club Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 8,534 ratings

From USA Today bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a sassy and sweet romance about an Irish rebel who falls in love with the wrong girl. Full of witty banter and swoony moments, it's the perfect romantic comedy to binge on.

Dear Diary,

I might have gotten myself into a wee bit of trouble—and I'm not talking about the "court mandated community service," or “therapy sessions from bashing a bloke in the head" kind of trouble.

I wish it were that simple.

Nope. I’m talking about the "falling in love with one of my client's daughters,” kind of trouble . . .
The kind of problem I can’t talk my way out of when the truth gets out.

How I ended up with her phone is a long story—and when she called to get it back, I took things a bit too far. One innocent exchange wound up leading to so much more.

Fun, new, and totally immune to my charm, Sutton is different. And I had no idea she was the daughter of Foster Green.

Blame it on the dark colored stout running through my veins, pushing me toward one bad decision after another. Pushing me toward her even though I know right from wrong; even though she's my client's daughter.

Dating her might be the best or worst decision I've ever made. Only time, whiskey, and one more roll around the mattress with her will tell.

total Irish hottie!!
5 out of 5 stars
total Irish hottie!!
I fell in love with this hot bad boy in The Secret to Dating my Best Friend's Sister, where Roark was a minor character and best friends with Bram and Rath--the three best friends from Yale. How much of a bad boy Roark is, was showcased in Bram's story though in The Diary of a Bad Boy, Roark still shows the readers how bad he is. He lives up to the title from how he treats his friends to complete strangers. His reasons for being a bad boy is what he hides from everyone but his best buds. They are the only two people who know the complete truth about his past. Just because he's a bad boy doesn't mean anything when it comes to his business. He's the best sports agent. He has ways of getting more money and endorsements than anyone. He takes his job very seriously. He even has a few clients who attempt to look out for him, one being a man he idolizes--Foster Green. Sutton Green has lived a charmed life with her grandparents and part time with her father, New York Steel star quarterback who is set to retire this year after spending the last two decades on the field. Now living in New York City--actually Brooklyn, she has a tiny closet for an office at her father's foundation after completing her education. She lives a fairly mundane life unlike her bestie, Maddie. Saturday night is usually spent curled with with her giant cat in her PJs watching Netflix. Unless, Maddie drags her out which is rare. Sutton decided she's going to fulfill some New Year's resolutions. Maddie helps her with one--tasting their way through all the iconic New York foodies, beginning with Gray's Papaya hot dogs. This is where Sutton's life changes. A fist fight. Swapped phones. Anger and frustration. Nightclubs. Spa day. Post Office visits. And a huge check mark on the last item on her New Year's resolution: Fall in love. Is there a way for Roark to open up to Sutton about himself and his past? Is he willing to for her? Can he earn the trust of both Greens? How could he break the trust of the one person he idolizes more than anything in the world? Can Sutton make her father see what she does in Roark?

Roark and Sutton are different enough that I had doubts they would work together. But I fell in love with Roark. Misunderstood bad boys are my favorite. Sutton was a little too goody goody in the beginning but came to the middle to meet Roark in a realistic way. In the end, they worked well together.

Billionaire bad boy sports agent and philanthropist from Texas. It's A tease with enough spice but not too much. Fire pits and horses and penthouses all here. Bad boy redemption in more ways than one. Alcoholism and references to past childhood neglect. Mentions death of a parent 20 years in the past.

I have come to the conclusion that Meghan Quinn is the QUEEN of writing DREAMY men. Yikes! Roark is one of a kind! I fell in love with him the first time he spoke within the book and couldn't stop obsessing over him until the last page (well, I am still thinking of him but that's neither here nor there)... Every time I read a book by Meghan I feel like it is one of a kind. No other author has her flair for writing and regardless of the fact that I have read plenty of enemies-to-lovers novels in the past this book makes me feel like I read the genre for the very first time. Time and time again she surprises me with her witty stories, lovable characters, and top notch plots that leave me aching for more. This book has all of that and more. Diary of a Bad Boy is a must read for any Meghan Quinn fan and even for those who have never read her books before. You will fall into INSTANT love with this sexy Irishman and feel a deep love for his troubled character. He pulled at my heartstrings (his family life is not the best), and made me laugh out loud numerous times. Sutton- the lady of the hour- is just as sweet and lovable. I loved how her sass came out when she first laid eyes on Roark and how it didn't go away! All in all, the two together are the FULL PACKAGE.

Diary of a Bad Boy has EVERYTHING I wanted in a book. An enemies-to-lovers trope (I love the angst and banter between these two especially when they are arguing), a sexy man with an accent that will make all romance lovers drool, a sweet and irresistible heroine that any man would be lucky to have, and an ultra sweet ending that had me smiling from ear to ear.

I think it's pretty clear that I highly recommend this one. Everyone will fall in love with these two- I just know it!

When Roark was giving Sutton the runaround in the beginning I put it down for a bit, thinking I wouldn’t finish it. It was so frustrating. I liked Bram in the first book but in this book not so much. But I wanted to finish the series, so I stuck with it, and it does get a lot better.

This is definitely my favourite book in the series - and I think it's because I just love seeing a self-confessed bad boy brought to their knees by the perfect woman. Roark is a man who desperately needs the loving of a good woman - and Sutton is the woman for him. The character development in this story is on point and the laughs are there as well. A beautiful story and a great addition to this series.

För mig var boken lärorik. Vikten av att ge någon en andra chans och att humöret hos oss alla behöver få en stund för sig själv så vi hinner räkna till tio innan vi agerar.
En kul bok också med en del skratt.

I started reading Meghan’s book like 1,5 years ago and adored her writing from page one. It’s easy, funny, educational and hot which are great attributes for me to escape into the world of books. But this one was my favorite so far. I cried, I laughed, I felt so much... Roark is pretty bad ass and apart of being Irish *seoon* I loved the way he grew up during those pages and still was his funny, badass self. And I loved the way Sutton loves him without giving herself up. can’t wait for future books. Thanks Meghan. Great job!
