About the Author

Louise lives in the Midlands with her husband and children. Scottish born and bred alas, she doesn't live in Scotland any more. Her heart though always will be in the mist-covered mountains.

She writes for the more mature characters, often in a #sweetwithheat setting. Not all of them are Scottish, though there's going to be a connection to that place, somehow!

This story was a great read, the characters are well done. I liked that they were mature. The mystery was not complicated, just helped move the story on.

On a special mission that needs to be completed in twenty-four hours, Blythe hopes to use the extra time to connect with her brother, what she gets is Marcus for one night. Fast forward seven years, and Blythe finds herself employed by Marcus and his hot brother, Adrian. And these brothers are down for anything. They are also being targeting, but by who and why? This novel is tech savvy and fast passed, and the passion is crazy hot! It's also super romantic the way the guys take care of Blythe when she is injured. And that ending!!!

I love books in the “private security” subgenre, and Dionadair is an excellent example. Even better, the fmc, Blythe, is not a client or someone rescued by the company, but an agent hired because of her military background and skills in the field. Unlike other “female agents” I’ve read in the past, she is not bitter, jaded, or have some kind of trust issues against men. Her bosses, brothers Marcus and Adrian, recognize her abilities and strengths. While they care for her when needed, they do not coddle or get in the way of her doing her job.

The dynamic between these three characters is everything you would want a relationship to be. There’s love, heat, respect. It’s fun, playful, supportive. A polyamorous relationship is not easy to maintain, and they discuss the issues that might arise like adults. Each knows the others, and themselves, are not perfect, nor do they expect them to be.

The mystery surrounding what’s happening to their company is intriguing. I would have liked to see more there. While I understood what happened, They why was mentioned, but I felt it could have been a bit stronger. But the issue might actually have been with me as I’m not familiar with UK law.

As for the side characters, Absolutely love Annie, and Tony intrigued me. Elle is adorable.

Overall, I love this book, and can’t wait for the second!

So as soon as I figured out this was an MFM read, I couldn't wait to get my grabby little hands on it. And it did not disappoint! Marcus, Blythe, and Adrian burned up the pages and left me wanting more. I definitely recommend if you're into romantic suspense.

I love the story of these 3 people. Louise took me on a suspense, mystery, love story journey. And I loved every moment of it. It was so good that I wished the story never ended. But luckily I have the second book to dive into. Can't wait to start Annie's story.

This was brilliant! A thrilling story line peppered with some of the sauciest scenes I’ve ever read!

The characters are all so likeable, flaws and all and you spend the book routing for success in their relationships and the professional job they are undertaking.

It is also so refreshing for the relationship dynamic of being polyamorous to be written about so beautifully. The sex scenes are phenomenal but it’s the love and day to day relationship which is so often not covered when writing about a relationship with multiple people.

Can not wait for part two!!

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun and fast-paced MFM romp of a read

I honestly wasn’t sure what I was getting into with this book. The cover suggested a paranormal read with its angel-like woman, but it is a bit misleading as the book is more action thriller meets Fifty Shades of Grey. The heroine is Blythe – ex-army, Scottish, and more than capable of looking after herself. Seeking a new career, Blythe is shocked to realise her potential boss is the unforgettable one-night stand she had several years previously.

Realising that the spark is still there, Blythe is startled when Marcus turns out to have a drop-dead gorgeous brother, Adrian, who has no qualms about moving in on his brother’s girl – so long as all parties are happy to share.

I’m not usually into these types of books, but the action-thriller plot and the character of Blythe had already pulled me in, so I thought I’d stick with it. There is a lot of sex, so the prudish out there be warned, and I’m not sure the book needed it. As I said, the plot was strong enough to stand by itself and fade to black and the implication would probably have sufficed.

For the broadminded, this a fun, feisty, and fast-paced read but be warned. The ending is a slightly confusing cliffhanger which had me diving straight into the sequel, so I suppose hats off to the author for that.

Wow. I haven't read anything like this before and now I'm desperate for the sequel. Mature characters, tech galore, suspense and action. And let's not forget the 3-way sex and lots of it! I like that the story is set in Edinburgh, it makes a nice change from the heavy London focus for this type of novel. I loved it!
