I got a special edition copy of this book in a book box (it’s gorgeous), so decided I need to read it on my kindle. I’m so glad I did!! The writing, story and characters are absolutely brilliant. I totally fell in love with Judith and Célian and their story. They're both stubborn, smart and witty. It made them falling for each other so much fun! Dual POV, fantastic story, great spice and chemistry, what a great book!

    Dirty Headlines is sheer perfection. Leigh has outdone herself and surpassed her readers expectations with this book. I devoured this book and finished it in one sitting.

    I was literally counting the days for this book to be released . The blurb had me excited and with all the teasers on social media and discussion on the Facebook page were making me more desperate to get my hands on this book. I was desperately trying to win a copy which didn’t work but as they say if there is a will there is a way. I found out about an Authors event which LJ would be attending and she was planning to bring few early copies of this book. I only attend the event so I could meet Leigh and hopefully purchase a personal signed copy of this book which I was lucky to get my hands on and meet this brilliant and fabulous author with a huge heart of gold .

    This book was so much worth and beyond what I was expecting. Leigh just blew me away with her killer sense of humor and epic timing. This story has everything to make it perfection. The hot and sizzling chemistry between the characters, the angst , drama and perfect comic timing. The inner dialogue and monologue were sheer perfection. In her signature style she gives us alpha hero who are cold hearted and arrogant but have their human sides as well which we get glimpses of throughout the story. There is a love hate relationship but as the story finishes you end up falling for these heroes. I am a huge fan of Vicious and Celian comes to Vicious level of cold heartlessness but definitely he out beats Vicious and all the other heroes in dirty talking. He definitely takes the lead.

    Jude is a strong and full of sass . I just loved this girl and her inner monologues. She is hands down my favorite fictional heroine . I loved everything about her character from her attitude towards life, her fierce loyalty and dedication towards everyone and everything she did & her sassiness to the way she handled Celian . This girl had a backbone of steel to stand up to Celian. I just loved how she handled him and stood up to him.

    I loved the dialogues and banter between Celian and Jude and the inner monologue. I wish Leigh would write a romcom next , she will kill it with her perfect sense of humor and epic timing.

    The story completely captivates you and sucks you in. It’s not a typical Enemies-to-Lovers Romance there is so much more in this story. If you have to read one story then Read this . You will not be disappointed. A must read and definitely not be missed by anyone. It’s going in my to re-read list and will be reading it again. I love it so much that I have already re- read it . I rarely but an ebook and a paperback copy of same book but I not only bought a personalized signed paperback but loved it so much I had to get my ebook copy too . Just can’t get enough of this story . You shouldn’t miss this story . Highly recommend this book. Its one of the Best Books of 2018 I have read .

    This enemies to lovers book is a fun read. I guess I wouldn't for sure say enemies to lovers but rather love hate love hate.

    Jude finds her boyfriend of 5 years in a compromising position when she drops by his place unplanned. She decides to drink away her sorrows and ends up meeting Celian. She lets her guard down and spends the night with him, thinking he was leaving the country the following morning. She ends up stealing his money, and his wallet sans the cards inside, then leaving him in the hotel sleeping.

    A few weeks later, she is newly employed at a huge media company. Her first day, she learns her one night stand is none other than the CEO's son, Celian. Celian isn't the kind of guy that has any repeat encounters with women. Jude is simply trying to live each day, hoping things will be OK.

    The banter was fun in this but I wish Jude held her ground with her convictions more. He'd hurt her, she'd say she was done and he'd quickly pull her back in (literally).

    Dirty Headlines is the office romance, enemies to lovers, lust to love story I didn't know that I needed. And LJ Shen completely put her spin on it and hit it for a home run.

    Celian is the complete alphaHole who we've come to know and love with Shen's male characters. He is sexy, full of himself, smart, ruthless, demanding and everything you might hate in a person. But he is also caring (in his own way), successful, sexy (did I already say that), and he knows how to satisfy a woman. Well, he knows how to satisfy Jude and he does it in such a way that demands me to take notice and get inside his head.

    "His accent was thick, but he used words like a weapon. Strategic, sparse. Each syllable a vicious strike."

    This story starts out hot and does not let up. From the moment we meet Jude (Judith), she is a broken mess albeit a strong heroine that I like to see. She takes what she wants and needs and doesn't look back. Well, until she has to look back. And what does she discover other than her very promiscuous one night stand is now her boss. While that night was totally and completely off the charts smoking, the office cannot hold the same. She is there to succeed and move up and Celian is there to take over the world, one headline at a time.

    But what happens when the Chuck wearing Jude surprises everyone with her humor, wit, strength and knowledge of the world that she brings to the newsroom? Will it bring Celian to his knees? Or are they just from two different worlds that aren't meant to happen?

    LJ Shen wrote her signature alpha-hole and totally and utterly surpassed all expectations I had. But what she really succeeded in was writing two characters that sparred well with one another and were two equals. They were smart and quite humorous as well. I loved hearing their inner dialogue that flew off the pages so easily. I'm not always a fan of inner dialogue, but Jude and Celian's was par for their characters and brought the book more to life for me. We got inside the hardened heart of Celian and see that his heart is soft for the right people and he loves. Just differently. And we got to see the desperate and beating heart of Jude. A heart that she didn't think could find it's match.

    I loved this book and I loved Jude especially. I loved that she didn't back down from a fight and I loved that she was strong from the get go. Strong female characters are my jam! She deemed herself an equal and she made people respect that by proving herself. Plus she has excellent taste in music and wears various shades of Chucks to the office? Can she be my BFF?!

    Take a chance and I guarantee you'll love the book and the characters. Even the supporting cast was amusing and fun to read. Even if you hate a couple of them and the games they play, they are all necessary. I adored the book and just wish the epilogue wasn't so short, to the point and wrapped in a bow. Too simple. That's the only negative I can give it. Otherwise, I'm all in.

    A enemy to lovers story, Jude (Judith) is trying to make ends meet working jobs to look after her ill father who has cancer.     I swear the chemistry between these two was electric. The minute Celian opened his arrogant sarcastic mouth I swooned and fell in love with him. He's a rich powerful man who likes to keep everyone and everything in place and at arms length. His heart is encased in a cage and he lets no one in, but oh my when that cage starts to fall apart very slowly we get to see a man who wants to be loved and to love someone back - is Jude that lady to unlock that cage ?
    This man - holy moly talk about a filthy sexy mouth, he was sex personified and it was mouth watering thigh clenching stuff reading about his sexy time.

    This book isn't just about sex though, a great story to boot it has twists, angst, secrets and great secondary characters all wrapped up in a pretty red bow just waiting for you to unwrap it. Next to Vicious this man is my next favourite hotty and a@hole
