    If u want a quick spicy book this is it. There is cheating but the wife and him have an understanding but still didn’t like her. There love was forbidden but at the same time there chemistry was 🔥 also it’s her best friends step dad. Check triggers.

    It wasn't my favorite, but to be fair I'm not a huge fan of this type of dom/sub romances ... I like spicy books and devour anything teacher/student, sadly the teacher student part was short lived and minor part of the plot.

    This read more like 50 shades, which to be honest I'm not a fan of and never finished that book... This one is better and I did finish it... It was a quick and easy read, I'm just not the main demographic for some of these tropes.

    I also had a couple issues, 1: she orders an Uber and then struggles to tell him her address, it's an app and they have your pick up and drop off locations before they accept the ride (that's how it can work in countries you don't speak the same language). 2: book end spoiler, but the reunite moment, hea, and ending of the book is all rushed into the last chapter. It was so rushed and even for a book I don't love the tropes, I feel cheated out of a more substantial ending.

    When I say this reminded me or a rawer version of fifty shades of grey! The sexy but sultry way Manuel and Carolina became Dom and submissive was so delicious lol. I like that even though he is older she holds her own and runs head first into his world! My first read by this author and she didn’t disappoint!

    There are a few things some readers may not be interested in, for one the MMC is married when the two MCs begin seeing each other, though the Marriage is “of convenience “ as the wife is known for having lover’s and its clear the MMC has no affection for the wife, but even so, some readers may not appreciate that aspect, so I set the warning now.

    Also, this shows a proper Dom/Sub relationship between the two MCs, and there is a significant age gap between the pair.

    Ok, now onto the good stuff, this book is incredibly well written and while illustrating both healthy and unhealthy relationships and sexual behaviors, it focuses on the growth and the formation of love and respect between the two MCs.
    Caroline, (heretofore referred to as Carolina) is a 19 year old university student in Canada, who has a crush on her Spanish teacher. Manuel is said Spanish teacher, who’s also has a “crush” on Carolina.

    There are complications, not the least of which is the student/teacher dynamic. Both parties will learn, love and grow throughout the story.
    This journey is fun, humorous and entertaining to read. If the previous listed TW don’t bother you, then grab this book for a slow-burn steamy taboo story.

    5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.

    4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.

    3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.

    2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.

    1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

    Manual and Caroline are not only professor and student, with a pretty big age gap (20 years), he's also married and her best friend's stepfather. It's a lot to navigate for one couple and it definitely creates some angst and drama to keep you going until the very end.

    I really like the author's writing style. She created characters that were well thought out, complex, interesting and gave the readers just the right amount of romance, angst, despair and hope to keep the story going until the bittersweet end.

    I wish this one had been tagged "cheating MCs" because that as a major trope isn't something I enjoy. If the MCs get cheated on, that's one thing but when they are the cheaters, that's whole other can of worms.

    I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    Caroline Marone is a student who is doing poorly in her Spanish class. Although she took the class because it seemed interesting, she finds herself distracted by her professor, Manuel Santobello. When she finds herself failing and unable to drop the class, she propositions Manuel. Much to her embarrassment, he turns her down. Just when she thinks all is lost, her best friend Zoey hands her an opportunity to spend time with the elusive professor.

    Dirty Professor is a well written age gap, cheating, forbidden romance, BDSM-lite trope filled story that is quickly and easily read. However, I found the story a bit boring and the characters not particularly likeable (except Nanna, Carolines 70 year old grandmother). The ending felt very rushed; a very long lead up to a lackluster finish.
