Discordant (Iron Heretics MC Book 3) Kindle Edition
It’s a miracle prison didn’t kill me. A miracle with an Iron Heretics MC tattoo on his shoulder and enough clout to protect a snot-nosed kid with a lisp from getting his head bashed in. The old man taught me to fight and hooked me up with his club once I was on the outside.
At least in this cage I can move around freely. For the first time in my life, I’m forging my own path with people I trust to have my back. When Zach—a Prospect with the Heretics St. Louis charter—walks into my training gym with his boyish smile and movie-star good looks, I start aching for more than I have the right to ask for: a home and someone to share it with.
Zach is skittish and focused on earning his full patch, and I’ve never been in a relationship. Between Heretics enemies, learning to communicate, and an endless string of cage fights, we agree to try and make a go of it. Could be a knock-out. Could be my next big disaster.
At the end of the day, a cage is a cage, and somehow, the Prospect is the only one holding the key to mine.
Discordant is the third book in the Iron Heretics MC series. The series is best read in order.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2021This 3rd book finds Ward , an ex-con turned cage fighter, and Zach, a prospect for the Heretics falling for each other. As this is a continuing series so it's best to read in order. Ward has a price on his head from a former inmate who thinks Ward ratted him out. Of course a motorcycle club book wouldn't be complete without some danger but in the end Zach and Ward get a HEA but danger is still on the horizon for Ward so I'm off to read book 4 to see if it continues and if a new couple is introduced. I highly recommend this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2024I have to give credit where credit is due... Michelle Frost has excellent attention for detail. Each book instantly picks up perfectly and lines up with the next book. Zach and Ward were the less angsty couple yet. They knew from the beginning that they wanted each other and it didn't take long for them to accept that they were meant to be. I love it and I recommend each of these books for a quick read.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2025No blood needs to be present. Everyone has everyone else's back to protect each other, help each, care for each other, and be there for each other. The brotherhood, sisterhood, and everybody hood is all you need to make it through every day. THANK YOU, MICHELLE! ENJOY!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2021I have read all the stories in this series. If u don't read the prequels you won't get a feel for the characters. I liked all the characters but 96 pages for main characters does a disservice to the whole series These stories should be longer to develop characters I enjoyed it but it wouldn't be stories I would purchase to reread on my Kindle for the future.A shame
- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2021For the short page count, the author did a great job with the characters, scene and overall book. I enjoyed it. The trauma the character face (and faced) influenced their personalities and behavior, and the romance both progressed the storyline and balanced the character development.
I recommend this 30 min - 1 hour read. ALTHOUGH I recommend reading them in order (prequels then series).
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2020Michelle Frost is one of my favorite authors and I love this series. The first two books and the prequels were meaty and very good. This one, though, didn't feel finished and ended with a bit of a cliff hanger. It was pretty short and there didn't seem to be enough time for the author to develop the characters fully. It actually felt like just a bridge to the next book. Don't get me wrong, I did like it, I just wished there would have been more to it. Also, as a small aside, I thought Mutt got short shrift when he came back to the group. He was a catalyst and treated those boys as his own and should have been given more respect and welcome by both Zach and Wade. I will definitely continue with the series, though, and look forward to the next book.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2022So far this is my favorite in the series, with Eben and Cody in the prequel a close second. It was too short in my opinion. I would recommend this to anyone who loves MC and M/M romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2023This book was my favorite so far in the series. Zach and Ward 's story was a great read. My only down point is I wanted so much more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Short and sweet
I liked it. Yes it was fast paced and there wasn’t too much backstory but I still felt connected to the characters enough to really enjoy the book. Plus they were hot. A great afternoon read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Short and sweet
Wade and Zach’s story is short and sweet and I loved it! What starts of as a one time thing turns into much more. But it’s all new to Zach and he’s not sure if he can handle a relationship with a man. But Ward makes it easy. And when Ward is threatened Zach knows their is no going back.

3.0 out of 5 stars light biker romance
This one did not keep my attention as well as the previous books in the series. Good characters. Lite first time romance. More of a novella. Moving on to the next one.

3.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable series
I’ve enjoyed the previous books in this series and was looking forward to Zach’s story. It lost stars because of the ending. I felt like I was 3/4 of the way through the story and all of a sudden the book ended.
Overall an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to the next instalment.
