Disrupt (Iron Heretics MC Book 1) Kindle Edition
Mace is the Sergeant-at-Arms of the St. Louis Iron Heretics MC—treading through volatile situations is all part of the job. At the end of the day, he knows better than to let his heart rule out over his head, but Pax is an anomaly he can’t shake loose.
When a threat returns, taking aim at Pax and disrupting the balance they’ve reached, Mace has to recalibrate his sights, bringing what he truly wants into focus. Unfortunately for them, danger doesn’t always stay dead.
Disrupt is the first book in the Iron Heretics MC series. It can be read as a stand-alone and features no cliffhanger, no cheating, and a HEA.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2020Moving story of strength, love and claiming a loving future. I really loved these characters and how they really treated each other with kindness, thoughtfulness and tenderness. Writing is great and the story-line flowed. I am so enjoying the Iron Heretics universe.
Pax and Mace are all things amazing. They are steamy, caring, creative and fun. They took their time to come together physically. Mace is this big amazing man who will do what it takes to protect those he chooses as family. Paz had been though torture and he grew up having no one to trust nor care for him. Needing to learn that Mace will choose him and be there for him was a beautiful journey.
This is book one of the Iron Heretics MC series and i am so looking forward to more books!

- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2021This is a dark, crime romance with triggers referencing torture, killing, and other aspects related to crime. So, you set that aside and you get a rather beautiful story of two lone souls brought together by circumstances (& criminal activity) to forge a new type of family. Though this is listed as the first book in the series, it is worth the time to read the two short prequels and an additional free novel from the author that really does enrich this story. I didn’t realize that or I may have been kinder in my reviews of those novellas!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2024Great story. Loved how mace couldn’t seem to stay away from pax and how that need allowed to realize he didn’t need to be a ‘lone wolf’ anymore. Loved the MC family and how they all come together for one another.

DISRUPT is the first in Michelle Frost’s Iron Heretics MC Universe, and is about sergeant-at-arms Mace and bartender Pax, who’s finally coming out of his shell after a traumatic kidnapping situation.
Though they have been dancing around some mutual attraction for months, Mace’s taking care of some business helps pave the way for them to feel comfortable and safe enough to begin to act on that.
Ms Frost does a credible job of world building, and creates characters readers can care for. An entertaining read.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2024Ohmygoodnessgracious! I was looking forward to this one especially after Reading the two prequels. I absolutely fell in love with them from Lex and Arden 's story. The fact that twins were who attacked Pax and the Leigh. I'm loving this biker gang and can't wait to read more. I can easily see this being a long running series and never getting tired of reading the guys of the Heretics.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2023The plot was great but the story read like a sequel and I felt like I was missing ALOT of information. I didn't know there were two or equal books, there was no sign of that. But it would be best to read that first I'm sure to add to the world and characters
- Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2023Quick read but very interesting. I wish the author had expanded more into the story, as some places feel rushed and lacking detail , however, it is still a solid story worth reading and I plan to continue.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome !!
Pax and Mace are super likeable characters, in a world of strong passions and fierce loyalty.
Love the pair and the world created by the author. Can't wait for the next in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story
This was another great book from Michelle Frost.
It was rough, sweet and hot.
I quite liked both Pax and Mace, their story was complicated and very straight forward at the same time. The trust, heat and trust between them was really sweet to read.
The plot itself was quite interesting, I would loved a bit information/resolution on some things.
Great story overall, made me really want to read the rest of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes yes yes
I have been waiting for this series since reading the free short novella of Cleave and J.J. and I freakin loved it. I fell in love with all the guys in Lex and Ardens story Cold Light. I am so excited that the Iron Heretics are getting their HEAs even if they are painful journeys to get to them. This is a well written story, it is part of a series and you could probably read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading the other stories starting with Cold Light so you know everyone’s backstory. I can’t wait to see who is next ...hopefully Axel and Leith
