Dissolution: Taoree Trilogy #3 Kindle Edition
I was supposed to protect them. I was supposed to keep them safe, but wherever I go more and more people are losing their lives, and nothing I do can save them. After so much loss, my family is breaking apart at the seams.
The Taoree Legion is winning this war. No matter what we do or how we fight back, we can’t seem to gain any ground. They’re one step ahead of us at every turn. The world is crumbling before my very eyes, and I can’t seem to stop it.
I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but I swear with everything I am that I will kill Emperor Thelonious Serparla for what he’s done to us, to my family, to the human race, to the entire world. By god, I will take him down, or I will die trying.
Dissolution is Book Three in The Taoree Trilogy and is meant to be read as part of a series. This book brings the conclusion of the series, and the happy ending we’ve all been waiting for.
***WARNING: This book is recommended for ADULTS ONLY. It is rather gruesome, so if you don’t like violence, death, blood, and the like, don’t read it. There’s also lots of cursing, ya know, ‘cause it’s the end of the world and all. This is a MM post-apocalyptic story with a romantic subplot… and sometimes one partner is not of the human variety.***

About the author

Michele is married to an awesome guy that puts up with her and all the burnt dinners she makes—hey, sometimes characters are a bit distracting, and who doesn’t plot when they’re supposed to be cooking? They live together in Baltimore, Maryland with two little monsters, a three-legged princess, a four-legged goofball, and a cutie with giant ears (aka their two kids, their two cats, and their dog). She hopes to rescue another cat soon, and if her hubby wouldn’t kill her, she’d get more than one… and maybe a few more dogs as well.
She loves creating worlds filled with lots of love, chosen family, and of course, magic, but she also likes making the characters fight for that happy ending. She hopes to one day write all the stories in her head—even if there are too many to count!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2018I originally got this series on Kindle Unlimited. I only made it halfway through the first book before I purchased all 3! I'm very picky about what authors I buy so that's saying something. I read all 3 books in 4 days (this is typical for me but that's how many books I read in a week!)
I loved the world building & how the author described every single battle scene. It made me feel like I was right there with Jer as he fought off the Legion with his family. My attention was so riveted on every line that I stayed up way past my bedtime to read more after the kiddos went to bed lol.
I highly highly recommend this series to anyone looking for the best writing I've seen in a long time!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2023OK I could not put these three books down. I read straight through all three of them! I just want to know when Wes‘s story is coming out!? This is definitely a must read for all sci-fi, paranormal and male male romance fans.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2022Oh my goodness… that was a hard journey. More loss, death, and destruction. There was much more action than book two. It spans several years and I loved that I could see character growth in everyone. I loved Orrean and liked Jeremy for the most part. I don’t know, there was just something about him, about his reactions to things, that felt off.
We are left with questions about Wesley and his connection to Elijah and his mysterious Balu. I hope we get to see his story as the fight for Earth still continues.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2021This is a sci-fi/romance mash-up, it is part of a series and must be read in order to make sense! I can’t love this series enough. The world-building and character development is amazing! I sincerely didn’t want this story to end and can’t wait for Wes’ story!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2024This book stressed me out, then ended on a cliffhanger for a book the author previewed but apparently never actually wrote. 😐🙁
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2021How can I find the words to express the emotional roller-coaster I have been on the past couple days while reading this Trilogy. ...if you want to be ripped to shreds and be put back together again READ THIS!!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2019This third book in the series ended just how I would’ve wanted it! Orrean and Jeremy continue to be super cute together. At first I was bothered by no closure for Wes but once I saw that he was going to get his own book I understood. I can’t wait to read it!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2020I was sad the journey had to end. I cried again so many times in this book...I am anxious to read Wes's story. I feel so bad for him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it - great wrap up to the series!
What a great wrap up to the series! This book really captured the long term war against the Taoree Legion - the ups and downs as the tides of battle turned over the years. We get the story at various intervals over a 2yr period, and the helplessness that all of the characters felt at various points was showcased well.
I loved seeing the bond between Jeremy and Orrean develop further - Jeremy could be so stubborn and pigheaded at times, and Orrean was so patient with him. I did like seeing Jeremy calm down and mature as the years went by, as he moved from a scared and heartbroken 19yo into a more well balanced and emotionally mature 22yo. This was so good to see!
I loved all of the other characters that were Jeremy's chosen family. I am so intrigued by Wes and the connection with his Balu - I'm really looking forward to the spin-off series from Wes's POV.
This is a series that I would definitely recommend, but would warn it is graphic at times and there is a lot of death and blood. Heed the authors warning if these aren't your thing.
