The way she is able to grasp your attention and lays out the story as you meet the Davies' family and get to know them. Then of course there is Scott and all the excitement he brings with him. Once you get started with this book you won't be able to put it down. I started this book as soon as it arrived in the morning mail and I was done before dinner time. Deep bows and hats off to you D G Nelson for this amazing book. I can't wait for the others and hope to see them coming out soon!

I attended a book signing and got my own copy to read! I was NOT disappointed. I found it difficult to put the book down, though life commitments made it necessary to do so. I was immediately drawn into the story from the first chapter. I wanted to learn more about this young man, Scotland Jenkins, and why his grandfather was such a stinker! As the story continued I found myself being drawn into the emotion as the details of Bethany's life were revealed one event after another. I did not want the book to end and I am now anxiously awaiting the second book in the Bethany series ........

D.G. Nelson was born in the Pacific Northwest and grew up in a very large family. Her love for writing began at the age of ten, while creating short stories based on family bonds. Her novel, 'At Dobson's Crossroads', is the first book in The Bethany Series and became available to the public on Amazon in 2013. The list of books in the series also include 'On the Homefront of Dobson Town', 'The Road to Dobson', and 'Dobson: The Long Road Home'. However, there are many chapters to come in the book series. Bethany Davies and the Davies family struggle during the Second World War while bringing hope to American families of all ages.
