    I liked this story and I enjoyed reading it. The author did a great job of character development for both main characters. The story had depth and the right amount of angst. I look forward to reading more books by the author.

    Worldly-wise man meets naive conservative. Close friendship to rocky relationship where each vie for dominance. The story is well-written and enjoyable with plenty of heat. The girlfriend who betrayed them was forgiven but I am not sure I would have been able to given how wrong it could have gone.

    Too repetitive, even within each segment. The bigger problem is the story: I stopped reading when Dom turned cruel. BDSM is fine; manipulation and cruelty aren’t. It’s a no from me. Well-written at least.

    The concept and story are good, far too good to be wasted on the simplistic 'high school essay' style of writing. The book also feel off-center, with the hero being corrupting rather than seductive. If this were chicken it would smell so bad you would bin it.
