When he is not writing about imaginary kingdoms or dreaming up new fantasy characters Rune S. Nielsen enjoys walks around the nearby lakes, often accompanied by his wife. And if he sometimes becomes distant on these quiet walks, he is most likely dreaming about imaginary kingdoms, and fantasy characters. This is not a new thing either; since childhood he has loved to discover quiet places in which to dream, and thankfully his home the beautiful kingdom of Denmark, has a lot of those. Early on he fell in love with fantasy novels. Not surprisingly with a mother who introduced him to Lord of The Rings at an early age, and a father who loves castles and Vikings. Rune always wanted to become an author, but started out as a journalist, working in print media, TV, web and recently communication roles at major corporations. He lives in a cozy house-share with his wife, their Ragdoll cat the heroically fluffy Mr. Muffin, and his best friend and the friend’s family.
