My brain has an affinity for being 5 steps ahead in any book I read but, this one had me constantly on the edge of my seat with unforeseeable twist after twist. I also loved how all bases where covered. Many fascinating questions were asked and they all received equally (if not more so) fascinating answers.     I just finished this amazing book that really reminded me of 'Aurora's Angel,' but honestly, I liked this one even more! I wish it were longer because I'm eager to see how Ava and Gwen's relationship develops in a potential second book. Ava was definitely my favorite character; I loved her personality, especially when she was feeling jealous. It added such a fun dynamic! The love scenes were simply perfection. Kudos to the author! I was struggling to get through books lately, but I couldn't put this one down—I finished it in less than 24 hours! 😂

    First, I should warn that this is not a shifter romance. It’s much more classic “knights, princesses, and a dangerous dragon” story. I think knowing that might help going in. After that, it’s a cute fake dating story that you may adore.

    If I had to complain, it’s that I’d love even more dragons. Petitioning for a sequel Dragon Queens 2: More Dragons More Queens.

    I loved every word of this story and I'm hopeful we'll see even more like it from this author someday!! The world absolutely needs more wlw fantasy stories, especially ones of this quality!!

    The developing relationship between Gwen and Ava was full of passion and love that never lost its luster throughout. I enjoyed going on this journey with them and seeing how their ruse progressed from fiction to reality.

    There were some nice twists and plays on words with prophecies in this which I enjoyed. Also, how those same prophecies lead to certain heartfelt realizations between our heroines was very sweet.

    I can't finish this review without mentioning the secret third star of this series, Wrath. I enjoyed all the interactions with them, and the teasing banters they had with Gwen. They're a bit of a second half addition and that's probably the only drawback haha. Wish there was more of them.

    Finally, I loved how this ended and how everything resolved itself. It all came together and lead to a beautiful future! Truly a great read! Hope to see more from this author!!!

    Cette histoire est plutôt mignonne, une vraie romance entre deux femmes qui commence par le sauvetage de la princesse qui s'est enfuie pour éviter un mariage horrible. Une décision de faire semblant de s'aimer pour échapper à son prétendant va changer leurs vies.
    Pas mal de mention de sexe plutôt chouette, une belle et mignonne romance.
    Une prophétie mystérieuse et un dragon rajouteront un peu d'action, ainsi qu'une attaque du royaume, mais n'espérez pas batailles et morts car c'est plutôt de la lecture ado/jeune adultes (sauf le sexe j'imagine).
    La fin était trop rapide et les conflits réglés trop facilement à mon goût. Ce livre traite aussi de la politique d'un royaume mais ce n'est pas gonflant. Il a une toute petite partie qui parle d'homophobie mais très minime. Et un personnage jugé violent et qui viole des femmes. Toutefois il ne s'agit que d'une mention des faits à 2 occasions sans details.

    Donc tout cela pour conclure que c'est une histoire à lire, vraiment mignonne avec des personnages attachants (et un peu bêtas quand même quand il s'agit de sentiments) avec un tout petit peu d'action, de fantasy et un dragon.

    I really enjoyed Dragon Queens, i loved Ava and Gwen, i loved them as characters. And i found what truly brought out them as characters as i read, what fleshed them out as people, and drove the story forward were the beautiful, hot sex scenes and the what happened around the sex scenes. Usual sex scenes help show were a relationship is, as a book progresses, the intimacy that is developing between two people, but in Dragon Queens the sex scenes and the the actions and story around them, did more than that for me, for me they told the story itself, they were so full of heat, and life, and Ava and Gwen, and Ava and Gwens circumstances, the story, for me, progressed through Ava and Gwens intimate encounters, and how their story was dependent on these encounters, in a beautiful way. Im sorry i really don’t think my words are doing justice to what i am trying to express! I guess what i am trying to say is that this is a beautiful lovely gorgeous read, and the author, for me, wrote these beautiful sex scenes, including the actions surrounding them, that are the most beautiful part of the book for me, and are the centre, for me, of the telling the story of two awesome women.
