    This is my 3rd series from Krista, and I must say in the later books you can see how the quality of her writing has vastly improved. I liked the concept but the writing got slightly annoying at times. Dar’s inner monologue reminded me of a teenager. “Long blond hair” is repeated way too often. However, I can’t wait to read the next one

    This is a well told set of interwoven stories. Daria needs to get past the loss of her mother and grandmother. She also struggles to provide the life giving support that is her legacy even while it damages her. A death threat brings a forced encounter with a true mate which leads to a struggle for her heart. The belief that Crystal was Luke’s girlfriend was a convenient plot complication but was hard to believe. The character development was great. The story is long enough to allow for a good deal of world building.

    I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading the next book in the series.
