    It was a nice plot. Girl in trouble. Hirers a bodyguard. Falls in love and struggles with consequences and confusion. I like the plot. I like there was mystery and death threats. This was what made me want to keep reading and find out what happens at the end.
    What I didn't like, and what was repetitive and sometimes not great writing, was how much the main character talked about her boobs. She wakes up and oh my nipples are jutting out and I'm standing in front of my hot bodyguard! She wakes up and oh no my nipples are jutting out and I'm standing in front of my hot bodyguard and his three hot friends! She trips aaannnd oh no my boobs are smashed against the chest of my hot bodyguard....There was a lot of boob talking and I think it was suppose to sounds sexy but it was just awkward. Maybe because the only boob talking was done my Daria inside her head.....Oh and every over page Dar talks about the 'hot bodyguard's frim backside and shoulders' it got very repetitive and I had to skim over that same paragraph over and over again.

    This is a well told set of interwoven stories. Daria needs to get past the loss of her mother and grandmother. She also struggles to provide the life giving support that is her legacy even while it damages her. A death threat brings a forced encounter with a true mate which leads to a struggle for her heart. The belief that Crystal was Luke’s girlfriend was a convenient plot complication but was hard to believe. The character development was great. The story is long enough to allow for a good deal of world building.

    I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading the next book in the series.
