I think over the years what I have come to love most about Proby's stories is that you get to be with the couple as they explore and figure out their new dynamic.  You aren't reading til the breakup you are reading to see how each character actively decided to make it work.  Proby writes adults who see the love in front of them and fight for it. I was never a big fan of angst and I despise petty or stories with things that could be resolved with a simple conversation, I now know the reason I do look forward to each book Kristen Proby releases is that her unique style allows me to read knowing there is no petty, that it is love that dominates the story and yes struggles but the struggle will be adults making it work and grabbing a hold of all that love offers. Does this break old school "formula" romance novel crap... heck yes and I say Thank Godness. OK, I think I may be a bit snarky as I write this but you know what it is the truth. I love a love story that focuses on the love and wanting to make it work, FIGHTING to make it work.. because in the end that is LOVE. Love isn't easy but it is worth it in spades if you decide to embrace it. If I look back on the books I have loved, the select rave reviews I have written over the past 7 plus years, the books that grabs me are unique and not formula, they speak to my soul and put love front and center oh and usually the male lead wants really wants the partner in front of them (no running or indecisive needed for this reader) And should be noted that each year at least one of this books was Proby book, my 2019 Top Pick List had TWO Proby books! With reading time limited I want to read what I love and I know Proby will deliver that so she is a must read author for me. And now this review is long but as you can see it made me THINK and FEEL........ and since I haven't yet said much about this couple here goes. ...... Kane O’Callaghan is a world-famous artist and the way he meets Anastasia Montgomery warmed my heart and really set the stage for these kindred spirits.  From the moment they meet it is clear this is different for them and as I rambled about above I THOROUGHLY enjoyed baring witness to them falling in LOVE.  This book immerses the reader in the Seattle world as it expands with more characters to cherish and more happys to look forward to in the Proby writing style (aka pure romance genius) I hope the O'Callaghan family captured my heart and I hope as the series continues they take center stage I am so excited this series is continuing and I look forward to return to Seattle with You Belong With Me and then Imagine With Me

    Kane O’Callaghan is a very well known and wealthy artist that makes beautiful blown glass sculptures. Having learned this skill from his uncle back in Ireland, Kain has built his career in the States and showcases his work in a self named museum in Seattle, WA.. There he meets the feisty Anastasia and knows she is someone he wants to know better.

    Anastasia (Stasia) Montgomery is an artist in her own right. Beautiful custom wedding cakes are her specialty, but when she loses her muse, she’s in need of some inspiration. Enter tall, dark, handsome with green eyes - Kane O’Callaghan! She has admired his work for quite some time and finds his work inspiring to her creative process.

    To say these characters have chemistry is an understatement. As with all Proby’s female characters, Stasia is an independent and successful woman. Both Kain and Anastasia have strong family roots, which gives them a great foundation to explore their mutual attraction.

    Stasia comes from a huge family with fame of their own. She is cousins with some our our favorite Montgomery characters from part With Me In Seattle books by Proby. It was wonderful to have Will, Meg, Juls and Nate crossover for this book in addition to other beloved characters.

    We also meet new characters to the With Me In Seattle series:
    Kain’s siblings- Mary Margaret (Maggie), Keegan, Shawn and Maeve
    Stasia’s siblings: We’ve met Amelia (Lia) and her husband Wyatt, but we were introduced to her brother Archer. I can’t for Proby to work her magic with Archer and Elena!!

    This book was beautifully written. I read this book in one sitting and literally could not put this book down! Ms. Proby has a wonderful ability to write amazing families into her books. The Montgomeries are loving, supportive and a very close bunch. It was great to see that our newest family, the O’Callaghan’s, have the same qualities have me loving them as well. I highly recommend this book- it’s a fantastic read!

    And finally- who could forget the star of the book...MURPHEY!! I love that dog!! ❤️

    I absolutely love this series. I have read each and every story and while it isn’t necessary to understand what happens in this story, I would recommend it because you get to see characters over and over and will understand the family relationships much more.

    Anastasia is an amazing baker. She loves what she does and, while she is sometimes super busy, there just isn’t anything better than spending time, creating beautiful cakes. Anastasia is very close with her family and would do anything for them, and they would her too. When she finds herself needing inspiration, she heads to one of her favorite places - the art exhibit of Kane. The beauty helps her find her own creativity.

    Kane is a hard man to know. While he is also incredibly close with his family, likes to be alone most of the time. He works hard and loves what he creates. But, there is something missing. When he is at his exhibits, he finds himself drawn to watching a woman who is so engrossed in her creativity that she doesn’t realizes he is there until he is rude to her.

    These two are such great compliments of the other. They find that they have such passion - both are super creative and love what they do, but they also find time to relax and cut loose. When Kane finds himself enamored with Anastasia, he can’t help himself. These two have amazing chemistry and you can’t help but feel their passion rise off the pages.

    With family drama and their new relationship, it’s wonderfully written with a lot of character development. You get a glimpse in to their siblings’ lives, as well as the whole WIth Me In Seattle gang. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for the next one to be released!

    I'm a fan of this series and this author since Come Away With Me. And even though this book is a standalone, I totally recommend reading the whole series, because it's amazing.

    As expected from Kristen Proby, we had light moments, fun, love, sweetness, sexiness and adorable characters. A totally safe reading.

    Anastasia is from the Montgomery clan ans she bakes and designs cakes (specially wedding cakes) for a living. Kane is a respect artist that works blowing glass.

    They are both hard workers and devoted to their families, no matter how loud and messy that could be. They are loyal and protective about the ones they love.

    Their connection is almost instant and their feelings grew fast, but it was wonderful to watch them interact and develop their relationship.

    I also loved their families, and that was great, since they play a huge part in the story.
    And the bonus: from those who have read the previous books, we get to see so many faces, it was awesome.

    A simple romance. Not really such a lot of drama happening. Just two people slowly falling in love. I do not know how the author manages to change something so seemingly simple and boring on the surface into a story which you can fall into, wrap around you, just enjoy reading.
    Okay so the protagonists themselves are not your everyday people - both successful as artists in their own areas, with numerous family members on both sides who are famous or successful, definitely not your everyday people. However, the story, the events woven around them would be something that a reader could relate to, and maybe this is what draws readers into the story?
    I personally think it's just the author's magic, and I definitely want to read more - not only in this series, but in any of the other series.
