MELINDA HAMMOND was born in the West Country and grew up with a love of reading and history. Since her first book was published in 1983, she has written and published over 50 novels, writing both as Melinda Hammond and Sarah Mallory.     Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2018
    Sweet, but too predictable little romance. All the situations were pat repeats of other stories in which a young lady runs away from home to avoid a terrible match decreed by a greedy father. It is well written which saves the story from being three stars.
