About the authors
Heidi writes fantasy and dystopian novels, which gives her a chance to escape into worlds vastly different to her own life in the burbs. While she quite enjoys killing her characters (especially the awful ones), she promises she’s far better behaved in real life. Other than writing and reading, Heidi’s current obsessions include watching far too much reality TV with the excuse that it’s research for her books.
Tamar hasn’t decided whether she’s primarily a psychologist who loves writing, or a writer with a lifelong drive to make a difference. She must have been someone pretty awesome in a previous life (past life regression indicates a Care Bear), because she gets to do both. She divides her time between helping families and writing emotion driven YA stories set in amazing imaginary worlds that surprise even her.
The driving force for all of Tamar’s writing is sharing and connecting. In truth, connecting with others is why she writes. She loves to hear from readers. Find her on all the usual social media channels or her website, www.tamarsloan.com where can download one of her books for free.
(Seriously, I LOVE hearing from you guys!)

- Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2024It did honestly take to about 50% of the way through to become, at least to me, as good as the previous books in the series. Once it hit that mark it was terrific. I loved how the characters stayed true to form all the way through and the ending was on point. I have not been disappointed yet by these authors. It seems two heads are better than one!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2024I have really enjoyed this whole series! A good last book. Aura and Hayze still have some trials and tribulations to get through, and mysteries still need to be revealed. The adventure continues! I have loved Aura and Hayze’s connection throughout this whole series! They are such a good team and so supportive of each other. I do wish they’d think some things through better at times, but they are still both strong individuals; mentally and physically. Good characters! I was disappointed that Jewel creeped me out some; when someone says they don’t like you like that, stop pushing it. Also, when you know someone likes you romantically and you don’t reciprocate, don’t be cuddling up and laying your head in their lap. That whole situation, just didn’t work for me; that’s mainly where the lost stars comes from. Overall, I liked how the story ended; I was thinking more twists would be fun for the end, but I still liked it. The whole premise was just really cool. An entertaining series!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2024Hayze and Aura are back and trying to do what is right for everyone, but there are things they don't know that can derail all their efforts.
I have to say I never saw the twist coming and I was completely surprised by what happened.
Really awesome series.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2024The relationship between the 2 main characters is nauseating in the last 2 books but becomes significantly worse in this final book. It is a struggle to read when it is so unrealistically obsessive how they are with each other. There are so many other things and plots going on and all the book talks about is them and their literal toxic obsession with each other. Every decision gets sidelined or delayed by their irrelevant relationship. I almost quit reading a third of the way through but it’s the last book and I forced myself to finish it. Their relationship is literally unbearable. I love a good romance and love story but this is ridiculous and so excessive it ruins the story.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2024Kudos to a book that takes through the climax and actually gives you a satisfying end with an explanation of the aftermath. This one ties up all the loose ends and I feel true closure. Well done.
