    The games continue and Hayze will do anything to get back to Aura. This story was full of twists and turns and surprises.
    The teens that are left in the game are continuing to try to gain control of their powers, while trying to survive the tricks and traps that continuously befall them.
    This was as action-packed as the first book. Kept me reading to find out what was going to happen next.
    Looking forward to the next book.

    This book keeps you turning pages. What I enjoy about these authors is that they write in such a way the reader feels the desperation, loss, determination, triumphs and confusion of the characters they have created. Their worldbuilding is always top notch. No matter what these authors write you can trust it to be a great read. This book seamlessly connects with book 1 so if it's been a while since you've read it they throw enough backstory in this book you remember right away.
    I can't choose a favorite part or character in this story but I loved it when they each individually realized that Hayze was right. I also loved that Aura trusted Hayze even when she couldn't remember.

    Alrighty, then. This is giving strong Maze Runner vibes. Not completely sure how I feel about the story’s trajectory, but I’m not hating it, either. I’m happy that I still feel the desire to keep reading which mean it’s a fairly decent Book #2, and we know how hard it is to have a good follow-up book. Part III, let’s see what you got.

    I couldn’t put this book down. All the twists and terms that it takes you on the edge of your seat journey. A tone of action surrounds Aura, pace, Jewel Atlas and Skylus as they learn to harness their elemental powers in the elemental games. Will they live or die. Mean while Hayze is trying to get back in the games to help Aura. An amazing read right to the very end, where once again a cliff hanger awaits you.
