About the authors
J. M. Levinton is author of the urban fantasy novel Magical Ties: Book One of the Emily Goddard Chronicles. Her short stories have been published in various anthologies.
She loves black clothing, cats, and New York City—not always in that order. You can find her at www.jmlevinton.com, Twitter @jmlevinton, and Facebook at www.facebook.com/JMLevinton.
Arielle Prose is a member of a writer's group of five women called The Penheads. They self-published four anthologies so far: Hunger: Stories of Desire, Discovery and Dissatisfaction; Smoke: Tales Between Light and Dark; Elements: Tales from the Substratum; and Colors: Stories in 5 Shades. After working in the publishing field for many years she is now retired, pursuing her first love: writing stories. She is in the process of seeking representation for her debut novel, "High Above the River, on a Lofty Hill," a coming-of-age tale sent in the early 1960's.
Carrie Vaccaro Nelkin is author of the horror novel "Snare" as well as short speculative fiction that has appeared in various publications and anthologies. Her poetry has been published in Blue Unicorn, Crow & Cross Keys, Honeyguide Literary Magazine, The Field Guide Poetry Magazine, Ephemeral Elegies, The Orchards Poetry Journal, The Poet, Writing In A Woman's Voice, Grasslimb Journal, Poppy Road Review, Mirror Dance, Third Wednesday, Connecticut River Review, Corvus Review, Poetry Quarterly, Shadow Road Quarterly, Rose & Thorn Journal, Golden Sparrow Literary Review (where she was a 2011 Pushcart Prize nominee), and Piedmont Literary Review.
When not writing and editing, Carrie’s usually walking the family dog, an affenpinscher mix with a huge smile and a penchant for chewing eyeglasses.
