About the Author
Inspired by the thousands of fearless authors and illustrators, who at some point were prepared to 'have a go', I released my first early childhood picture book, 'I Love You 5 Lollipops' in May 2013 and reprised the Elizabeth Rose character in the follow-up book, 'Elizabeth Rose on Parade' released in September 2014.
I regularly present author talks and publishing workshops at schools, libraries and literary events. Meeting and spending time with kids and getting them amped up on glitter is one of the best things about my job!
When I'm not doing booky stuff, my highly active imagination morphs into over ambitious Christmas decorations, that never quite look like the picture, grand plans for our small but rather baron vegetable garden, nerdy project ideas for my daughters' homework and innovative cooking techniques for vegetarian food, (apparently lentils in bolognaise is not the done thing).
In 2017 I will continue on the KidLitVic conference committee aiding the work of emerging and experienced authors and illustrators as Communications and Assessment Coordinator.
I am an author champion for The Smith Family's Let's Read program, a member of the Australian Society of Authors, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the Children's Book Council of Australia. I write for the The Glasshouse Girls online magazine and I am a segment contributor to Kinderling Kids Radio.....phew!
I live in Melbourne, Australia with my husband and two daughters and our Cavoodle, Millicent Olivia Sophia Louise Muller, aka 'Millie'.
