Enhancer 2 (The Enhancer Series) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 770 ratings

Having superpowers can be awesome, but they always come at a price.

Ty Wilcox didn’t really believe in superheroes before he became one himself. Now, he has an incredible power he’s just beginning to understand, lives in a mansion, and is in a relationship with two of the most amazing women alive.

But when a flying, teleporting demon-woman appears outside his work, the price of his new life becomes apparent.

There’s a supervillain after the device that gives Ty his power. This villain will do
anything to get it, and has an entire army at his command.

The price of Ty’s new life is never-ending danger.

Warning and minor spoilers: Just like book 1, “Enhancer 2” is an 18+ book intended for mature readers. It includes very light gamelit elements, occasional bad language, and is set in a cyberpunk alternate future. Within its pages you will find threats, battles, destruction of property, evil plans, betrayals, wrongful imprisonment, major violence, death, and the unfortunate realities of living in a world dominated by mega-corporate greed. The malevolent boss from book 1 is still there, as is the monstrous bad guy. But so are the gorgeous superheroes who are comfortable with unconventional, harem relationships, and there might be someone new in that mix as well.

If you don’t enjoy a good time, this book isn’t for you.

Hi! I'm Wyatt Kane. I grew up in the early 2000s reading stories of heroes and wild adventures, anime, light novels, and any type of story that your literature teachers don't respect. Even worse, I then gravitated to video games, playing everything from first person shooters through to fighting games and then RPGs.

Combine that with a lifelong interest in sci-fi, superheroes and adventure, and you can see the influences in the type of story I write. Science fiction. Superheroes. Adventure. All those good things that make for true escapism. Harems and beastkin and good, old-fashioned fun without the hangups.

The idea for Enhancer is something I've had in the back of my mind for years, a multi-book superhero story that deals with mega-corporations in a cyberpunk world - and when I stumbled into r/hfy, the final pieces (waffles) were in place. Time Master is another story I've wanted to tell for ages, and I've got a few other ideas that I need to get to as well.

If you like what I write, drop me a line and say so. You can reach me at:

And yes, for those who are curious I do indeed have a black cat called Gremlin, and my characters are based in part on my extended family. :-)

Ty is a regular guy given the chance to become a Superhero, but it's much harder than just walking tall. He needs to become more powerful so as to be able to Fight the villains. While he tries to get more powerful, he has 2 beautiful women hero's that are relying on him too. They do make his days better especially with all the sex they want from him and each other.😉
This was another enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

I like the tech enhancing everything about a person and i liked the "alignment" ideas cause its how writers build their characters, having characters to good or to bad is boring. Bad guys with soft spots makes thing interesting as does a good guy that can rage out and do bad things as long as they feel the regret and know its not right. Well done.

It did seem to me that there may be another life added to Ty's menagerie, but this had also been done in another series I read where the hero only actually has two girls in his life with a tease of a third, but until the next book we'll just have to see. Otherwise this book felt a better read just because it seemed on developing the relationship between our tech head and deerkin a bit, but once again felt rushed in favor of the action. It also seems that we have a genuine mastermind in how everything feels planned out with even the subtle hint of our aggressive superheroine's father being the villain in question. Yet, me might actually be surprised when the reveal is made down the road.

Hard to rate this one. On one hand I want to give it 5 stars for its all the right reasons, but on the other hand the author is redundant in a lot of his explaining. Multiple paragraphs in a row explaining the same thing. Often addressing concerns that could be immediately fixed if only Ty voiced them.

Ty is capable of great feats of genius and simultaneously great feats of stupidity. He’ll run headfirst into danger, but not his own relationship. It is very clear he has a harem, but is unwilling to put down terms or concerns. He rides shotgun in something that is supposed to be a partnership. To quote Van Wilder, “The first date is always an interview.” Instead it’s left in the air, for drama (I guess), but it’s very frustrating. It’s better to try and fail then never try at all. Boundaries need to clearly defined so people don’t get hurt.

Ty needs to up his priorities. A lot of his toys could help other heroes, even his own team, but this isn’t even a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd priority for Ty. Instead he’s more concerned with his dead-end job (even if he worked there his entire life, he wouldn’t pay off his debt) than utilizing his new talents to do something productive. It’s like reading about a pilot that’s never seen an airplane.

It’s your typical boy falls into harem, but refuses to be proactive in it because stupid excuses, wrapped around a semi-decent (when it gets to it) superhero story.
