I'm always counting down to the release of the next Brandy L. Rivers book, and Entangled Darkness was most definetely not a let down! I have a hard time setting books down and often finish them in one sitting, but I think it would be more honest to say I devoured this book. To be fair, I loved Liz, Robert, and Tremaine's first book and was so excited when I found out they were getting a second one. It did not disappoint!

This book follows more of Tremaine's demons than the others, but they are definetely all there throughout. Some of Liz's issues rear their head again, and Robert is dealing with learning more about his past than he ever expected. Rivers' characteristic suspense along with some steamy sex scenes and romantic love was all there and fantastic as usual. I cannot wait to see where she takes us next!

Boy I have to say I don't think I will ever get sick of reading about my Edenton family. This one is about my favorite trio, Tremaine, Robert and Liz. I started out being mad because of mistrust but after I got further couldn't help but love them even more. Without giving anything away if you read the other 7 books your going to love this one....Specially the ending. Very well written once again thank you Brandy L Rivers for another great book.

Brandy Rivers writes a well thought out story in book 8 of the Others of Edenton series Entangled Darkness. I would suggest reading the other books first so you are more informed about the characters and the back stories however you do not have too, it will just be a little more difficult to understand. What do you do when you find yourself in positions you swore you never would...if the choices you made in the past put you in situations that you knew would not be a good place to be so you tried to avoid that outcome above all others...And then you find yourself in gout worst nightmare...Tremaine always puts Liz first since the day he rescued her from Roberts uncle. He handed over books full of details no one else knows to help Robert and Preston take down the silver circle and all of the corruption in it. Liz, Tremaine and Robert are in a three way relationship together. Tremaine is a hybrid because he is half druid and those were unheard of when he was first born now...many years later...he is happy although his past hundred years still haunts him. After some heated arguments and confusion about what side Tremaine is really on after being undercover for so long he and Robert have a few heart to hearts to help clear up any confusion reading the files may have caused. Liz finds out some great news at one of the worst moments and it just proves that when things are bad they can always get worse but in the form of great news and you know you will do anything to move forward and accept the task that you will give you your own life to protect... Can Tremaine,Robert and Liz work past their past to help secure a happily ever after for their futures or it is too late the the haunted past is catching up to them...

Plots around plots. Rifts and dimensions. Magic and mystery. Action and adventure. Love, faith, and healing. Only Brandy L Rivers can tell a tale to keep you riveted so thoroughly. Lost sleep reading this book. Liz, Robert, and Tremain. They make a wonderful family unit. There are some very sexy scenes. Not for the faint of heart. From a true Fan... Pam James.

Ok, so I have read all of the Others of Edenton books and still was not sure I would be interested in this one. I took a chance that this wasn't going to be a rehash, and while it wasn't, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It seems to mostly be a vehicle for a new direction of the stories, or perhaps a spin-off of the series. As much as I love a great paranormal/fantasy book, this one seems to be taking off into a different world altogether. The relationship of Liz, Trem and Robert was taken to a place I did not enjoy. Theirs is a love story, but I am still not sure it works. At times confusing, and frustrating it is certainly not up to the standards of the earlier works. Not sure I like where this seems to be headed.

Brandy, your books just keep getting better and better. Wow! The detail and depth of this story was just mind blowing. I loved Tremaine, Liz and Robert the first time around, they were just as good this time too. I can't wait for the next installment.

Even if this is your first others of Edenton, you will follow the well developed plot and characters. If you've read other, reading about old friends will make you smile.

First off let me say that I have absolutely loved all of the Other of Edenton books. However, I honestly don't know what it was about this book, but it didn't keep my attention. Still a good read, but just not quite up there with the rest.
