Enticing Daphne: An Accidental Pregnancy Romantic Comedy (Girl Talk Book 3) Kindle Edition
I didn’t need a man to make me happy.
Then an unexpected blast from the past came waltzing into my studio and decided I was a challenge he was more than willing to accept. The only problem is that he doesn’t remember he’s met me before.
He’s the ultimate playboy, determined to stop at nothing until he entices the hell out of me. But if Caleb McMannus thinks he can lure me in with his sinful looks and silver tongue, then he’s… probably right.
*Author Note: Enticing Daphne is a steamy romance with its own happily ever after.*

About the author

Born and raised around Houston, Jessica is a self proclaimed caffeine addict, connoisseur of inexpensive wine, and the worst driver in the state of Texas. In addition to being all of these things, she’s first and foremost a wife and mom.
Growing up, she shared her mom and grandmother’s love of reading. But where they leaned toward murder mysteries, Jessica was obsessed with all things romance.
When she’s not nose deep in her next manuscript, or binging on sit-coms, you can usually find her with her kindle in hand.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI freakin’ LOVE Jessica Prince’s books. LOVE. THEM! They are always so positive and full of laughter and hope, even when drama happens. They are also a fast read, which helps a lot, especially when you don’t want to put them down.
This is the third book revolving around the girls from Girl Talk, and it focuses on Daphne, the third and last one of the radio show co-hosts and bff’s. She and Caleb, who is Grayson’s best friend from book 1, have been dancing around each other ever since we got to meet them back in Lola and Grayson’s book. They seem not to get along, but you’re definitely rooting for them to get together already. And it finally happens. And it definitely did not disappoint.
I seriously could not put this book down. I was so into it, I couldn’t wait to see how Daphne and Caleb would be getting their happy ending. I loved every moment of it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is on the look for a happy read. Even though it is part of a series, I think it could definitely be read as a standalone as well. Although, it is definitely so much better when you know who the side characters are and what role they play in the main characters’ lives.
Next will be Fiona and Deacon’s story. And I cannot wait!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI am a huge Jessica Prince fan and have loved her rom com's starting with Seducing Lola and I am happy that Enticing Daphne continues this streak.
Neither Caleb or Daphne really believe in love; they do both believe in great sex and they happen to have found it with each other. While their friends around them are falling in love they are content in leaving their feelings at the door - that is until their feelings start getting in the way.
I love how both Caleb and Daphne are strong characters who happen to express themselves one of two ways - through sex or yelling both they like to do with each other. Ms Prince takes her readers on quite an adventure that is Caleb and Daphne's relationship. Told in dual POV's we get to see what has influenced these characters to make the choices they do. The book has great dialog and character development and makes you root for the two even when you are yelling at them. I also loved that the story runs parallel to the other books in the series - I thought this was a nice touch and a departure from the usual one story runs at a time.
All in all, Enticing Daphne is a fun romance that is a perfect curl by the fire read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI was really curious to see how Jessica was going to write her rich playboy. Honestly this character is a common one and has gotten to the point where they’re all the same. That was not the case for Caleb, he was surprising me at every turn with both things he did and said. There was originality to this storyline that was so refreshing!
Daphne like her fellow, Girl Talk, co-workers and BFF’s was sweet, sassy, and smart. She knew what she wanted out of life and didn’t settle for anything less. She had this way of making herself heard that was both classy and cutting depending on who she was talking to!
This book was full of laughter, heat, and sass. Sweet moments between two people falling in love. And incredible teeth clashing, clothes ripping, must touch each other now, sexual encounters that left you hot and flustered!
This series has turned out to be one of my favorites from Jessica and I can’t wait to see what she does with Fiona and Deacon’s book.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI think Jessica is a wizard, or something. No one should be able to write as flawlessly and consistently as she has and continues to do.
I loved every single freaking second of this book. I don’t know how she does it, but from the very first sentence you’re hooked. Enticing Daphne is an exciting thrill ride I didn’t see coming. While I knew to expect brilliance, this book outdid itself.
Daphne Daphne Daphne. Where to even begin. She’s my kinda girl that’s for sure. Fun, flirty, and knows what she wants out of life. She’s feisty and Magnificat.
I know there is for sure one more book in this series due to come out, and I’m itching to get my hands on it.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI cannot express how much I love this series. Daphne and Caleb are no exception. They both carry baggage from their parents relationships. Caleb is drawn to Daphne. Daphne is smart and sassy with a lot of courage. Daphne keeps Caleb's demons away for him. Deep down they both want a healthy relationship. I loved how Caleb was so sweet and protective of Daphne when she was sick. This is a push pull romance. They do get their HEA once they both realize they want a committed relationship. I would totally recommend this book and series especially if you love romantic comedy. I cannot wait to read Deacon and Fiona's story.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWell, at least it was better than the last book. But I don't know, I expected to like it more somehow. Felt like the spark wasn't really there and I kinda got bored. Especially with their fighting. It was like high school . "I hate you" "Grrr, you're an a-hole". Seemed like Daphne's character was just dumbed down and she lost a bit of edge and backbone. Didn't like how this strong independent woman was reduced into an insecure, hissing shrew just because Caleb forgot about her and their night together.
Also HATE, HATE, that heroine is yet again celibate while H is not. I get he's a player but c'mon. Who brings up other women when they're about to make love? How "no matter who he was with, it just didn't compare to her". Of course that pissed her off and ruined the mood. Unlike the cad, She was with no else, just him! So what woman wants to hear that? What an clueless idiot.
Anyyways, I thought the book was okay. Just an average read to me. Didn't blow me away. I probably expected it to be more emotional & angsty due to their separation and him completely forgetting they had slept together. Others might enjoy it, I thought it was so-so. Not sure if I'll read the next book.
