Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, he moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and has lived there ever since with his wife and dogs.

He released his debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, in February 2017. This was the first instalment in a post-apocalyptic zombie series. There are currently twenty-eight books available in the Safe Haven universe, including the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything.

Also available from Artinian, is the fast-paced, best-selling survival horror trilogy, “Relentless”, and the new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series, "The Burning Tree".

In October 2017, he won the prestigious Zombie Book of the Month Award for Rise of the RAMs. In December 2017 he was also bestowed with the "Best New Author" award by the Reanimated Writers group. In addition, Safe Haven won the "Best Series" award in the popular GMZ poll. The End of Everything: Book 1 also won the Zombie Book of the Month title in May 2019.

    The world Mr. Artinian created in the zombified Scottish Highlands is a fantastic place to visit. If you are a fan of reading about humans struggling, learning, adapting to survive after being pushed down the ladder as apex preditor, this is for you. If you enjoy reading about young women finding strength, courage, and how to push beyond limits this is for you. An avid fan of post apopolytic survival of humanity, by a number of means, sometimes stories stick out or a particular character inspires or haunts you and this is one of those series. Others in this same world are simultaneously existing in the Safe Haven series, which you must also read. Thankfully Mr. Artinian beautifully weaved these stories and characters together so we, as readers, can experience more. I'd give you an example of any one character until I have to choose. They're all vital and make each book so cravable. Read these books! You will not be disappointed.

Poor Olsen is so obsessed with catching them, she puts everyone around her in jeopardy. I like how the girls are always strategizing their moves. Now its time for them to make their way home to Safe Haven. Hopefully they'll make it without any incidents.

    Yes, again, the brilliant Christopher Artinian gives us an action packed book which plunges us into the action right from the start. Our little group of three face unbelievable danger, facing not only the undead, soldiers but opposition from those who should be firmly on their side.
    This amazing book gives us everything, raw bloody up close fighting, subterfuge to swing things their way and absolute gut wrenching fear.
    Throughout the book the sisters continue bickering, arguing, falling out with each other but, at the end of the day prove that each would lay down their life for the other.
    I loved seeing the softer more sentimental side of the sisters, there is one scene in the book which is so beautiful, so poignant and placed exactly right in the book..
    Yet again Chris Artinian has given us a superb book, again leaves us desperate to know what happens next. Over thirty books to his name, his writing gets better and better and I for one am running out of adequate words to describe his work. I will simply say that I cannot recommend his books highly enough
