Exile: Beyond the Thaw (The Thaw Chronicles Book 7) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 336 ratings

Only the chosen shall seek.

Sam, Hawk, Luca and Mercy.

Four teens no longer sure what they’re seeking. Four teens no longer sure whether it can be found.

They were supposed to be building a new world. One where the Earth is respected as much as the people who depend on it for survival. One where the benefits of Askala could be shared by all.

Except instead of bringing people together, Sam, Hawk, Luca and Mercy are more divided than ever. Sam has returned to Askala, learning exactly how vulnerable her home is. Hawk is trapped, forced to fight for his life to save those around him. Luca has returned to the Outlands to right his wrongs. Mercy is determined to find out the truth at any cost.

In the struggle to repair the world from the ravages of global warming, the fight to reunite is going to be their greatest battle yet. Because no matter where they are, treachery is far closer than they ever realized.

Living has never been more deadly.

Lovers of Divergent and The Hunger Games will be blown away by the next installment in the bestselling series, The Thaw Chronicles, from USA Today best-selling author Tamar Sloan and award-winning author Heidi Catherine.

I literally couldn't put the book down and read the whole thing straight through. The character development continued in this book and I am certain it will in the next.

I love how each book is written in the 4 different view points, but always continuing on so you don't get confused. Each person got to be a hero in this book and of course the ending didn't fail.

Recommend this entire series...have read them all front he first one about Nova,.Kian, Wren & Dex. Movies should be made!

I'm running out of things to say about this series! Sometimes it's hard to tell who is friend and who is enemy throughout this series but this one especially had me gasping at the evilness and betrayal in this book. Great book. Can't wait for the next one.

Great series. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is between 10 and 100. In my opinion the books should be read in order and not as stand alone..

    Come on Sam -
    Use your deductive reasoning.
    Charity isn't a good person.
Spy in your midst. A dangerous one.

I don't know how Tamar and Heidi keep this series so exciting over 7 books, but they certainly do! I'm sure I held my breath for at least half of this one. It's spread over three different lands, which really keeps the action rolling along. There are some clever twists in there and some beautiful heartfelt moments too. I am so attached to these characters I never want this series to end!

The dystopian adventure is revved up several notches in this book! As ever, I am so bowled over by the complexity and thought that has gone into the world building of the series. It's astonishingly clever. The perfect escapism read full of plot twists and turns and plenty of emotion.

Rarely, do I come across books
that keep me, heart pounding, on the edge of my seat. The writing is superb, the plotting is perfectly paced with enough down time in between exciting events to let you catch your breath.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to put down sequel.

This series continues to amaze, the book was nearly impossible to put down. Obviously the last two books need to be read first to enjoy the continuing saga. The point of view as always swaps between the four protagonists with all four lovable and sympathetic, I’m excited to see the finale.
In short, excellent writing, an engaging world and its full of romance and adventure. Highly recommend.
